We can only agree with other good reviews about location, friendly staff, lovely breakfast. Our rooms were lovely, we had 2 and 3, interconnecting rooms perfect for the 4 of us. Living area was like some historical log cabin, painted ceiling in bedroom, luxury large bathroom and shower room. Prague was fantastic but so busy at this time of year,... More

The Green Grape is a beautiful small hotel in a quiet street only a few minutes away from the Charles bridge and the castle. We loved staying here for 4 nights. And there was a yard where we could park our car for only 20 euros a night. And yes that is cheap. The service was very good. And as... More

Excellent location in the historic Little Quarter district, just beneath the Prague Castle. A quite place, but very close to all the touristic attractions in the area. Nicely reconstructed medieval building, each room has a different setting and atmosphere. Private parking available.

Good location, super friendly staff and nice rooms. Walking distance to almost all attractions. Decent breakfast in a lovely outside back yard. Free tea/coffe in the rooms and an okay mini bar. A bit slow wifi, but at least it worked.

Location of the hotel is excellent, very quiet, but at a short distance from attractions. Breakfast is good. Hotel staff is very friendly and they book tickets and table reservations efficiently. The hotel is small, 8 rooms only and all the rooms are unique. Rooms are clean and tidy.

This is a quaint and pleasant hotel in a historic building in the quieter area of Prague's historic district. The rooms all have a different decorative theme and the accommodations are excellent. The included breakfast is excellent and has just enough diversity to keep you interested each morning. The hotel has a restaurant next door called Delice, and it is... More

The hotel has large and confortable rooms, in restored building, furbished like the original rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful and made many arrangements of us. Breakfast was also vey good. The only thing that was not very good was the internet.

Hotel At the Green Grape was in a great location in Prague--an easy walk to all tourist sites. Our room was actually a suite of two rooms...the first with a couch and a table and chairs; and the next was the bedroom with a bathroom. It had lovely antiques yet the mattress was firm and comfortable. The staff there was... More

This beautiful small hotel is on a perfect location in Mala Strana, walking distance to Prague Castle and the other side of the Vltava river. A very quiet neighborhood, excellent room (we had # 8 Kafka), varied breakfast and above all Michaela at the reception, who advised us on great spots for dinner. Parking place in neighboring courtyard. We could... More

We stayed at this property for 5 days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was just below the castle so not right in town but that suited us fine as its still close to many amenities. The hotel is a renovated older building with lots of charm but in excellent condition. The rooms were quiet (were 4 of us... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
