We arrived by train and the hotel was within walking distance of train station so very convenient to get to. The hotel location also provided easy walking access to the old city and other places of interest. The rooms were very spacious and very comfortable. We booked the family suite which had two interconnecting rooms. The staff were very friendly... More

Really clean hotel, great location for shopping and a 15 minute enjoyable walk to the Old a Town. Just across from Lucerna nightclub which I would highly recommend on a Friday or Saturday for good ol 80's and 90's music 😀 Beds were changed as soon as we left for breakfast every morning with clean towels also left. Did not... More

Just like cupcake's review below we also arrived at the hotel only to be told that we had been switched to another hotel. We have paid upfront over 4 months prior to travel and arrived around 3pm. Despite this we were given a proforma letter and walked down to the Julis Hotel, which is about €40-50 per night cheaper according... More

Struggling to choose a Hotel in Prague on-line, I thought why not go back. Location is great (on Wenceslas Square, right next to National Museum) and you know what you're going to get. Good price and competent service.

Upon arriving a number of hours early, the gave us 1 of our 3 rooms as the others were not ready which was great for us to store luggage. We were part of a stag party, and whilst we were the only stag party in the hotel.... it really was a fantastic location. Over the road from the underground, tram... More

we booked this on the day of arrival after choosing to leave the hotel we were originally booked into. We arrived at 11.00am aware we couldn't check in until 2.00pm, but they happily stored our luggage so we could enjoy ourselves wandering around the sites of Prague. When we returned to check in the process was easy and the staff... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
