Great hotel in the perfect location, on Kampa Square just off the Charles Bridge in Mala Strana. Kampa Park nearby another plus. Historic hotel, well-maintained with friendly, competent staff. Rooms are large and the prices reasonable. I will stay there again on a future trip next year. more

This small hotel is located maybe 50 meters (150 feet) from the steps to the Charles Bridge. That alone makes this hotel ideal. So, if it is location you seek in a hotel, this one is hard to beat. We have just enjoyed three days at the Golden Scissors. Great location, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The large bedroom and bathroom were excellent - extremely comfortable and very clean. Bathrooms were a delight - both a bath and a shower and everything else we needed including loads of hot water and a power shower. Highly recommended. more

The hotel was absolutley spotless. All staff were more than helpful and spoke excellent english.
