The situation of the hotel is ideal - right next to the Charles Bridge - which places it in the historic and beautiful centre of Prague This small hotel offered very good value for money. It is not super luxurious but certainly gave us everything we wanted - friendliness, comfortable beds and spacious rooms in an ideal location. Despite being... More

Spent a really enjoyable 3 nights at this hotel, staying with 2 young children. The location on Kampa Island is absolutely perfect. You are at the foot of Charles Bridge, next to the Kafka Museum, John Lennon wall and all of the main attractions. We also had the bonus of the Christmas markets just outside the hotel, complete with an... More

Visiting Prague is hoping to find authenticity. In this hotel I did and the astonishing fact is that I was only a few steps away from the stream of tourists going over the Charles Bridge and did hardly notice because the place is so quiet. Still there is the view on the river that you can see between the houses... More

We stayed at the U Zlatych Nuzek Hotel in September 2015. The hotel is in a plaza right at the bottom of the Charles Bridge, close to all the sights. Perfect location. Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
