Out of all the trips and hotels I have stayed at this was by far the worst I have stayed at. I was on the first floor and right by the street. First the room was very old and small, the only thing the room fit was the bed and the bed was so uncomfortable i might as well sleep... More

Dear guest, Your room windows were facing the street, where there is a common walking and driving traffic. And our hotel is also situated in the city-centre, where the traffic and rumour is higher, than in the subburbs. Your room was a standart double-room with the classic and in the world´s hotels of our category common size. The room equipment... More

Old Prague Hotel is a very good hotel just 5-10 minutes walk from the Old Town Square. And maybe another 20-25 minute walk from the main railway station. I spent 3 nights at Old Prague, and have many positive things to say about the hotel. First off, they were very good in answering emails so you could do a lot... More

Classic hotel, good location, near to Charles Bridge. Room is spacious, facilities OK. Room facing the front could hear noises from the street yet double glazing not very effective. Kettle in room for boiling hot water, very good. Breakfast is nice too! Very good value for money.

Small but very comfortable hotel. Is on a busy one way street but you don't really notice the traffic. Parking can be a problem but we found a space close by and just fed the meter. Be careful of the parking - some cars were ticketed. Hotel room comfortable and clean. Breakfast - plenty of choice. Went to a very... More

Booked this hotel via Jet2 City Breaks for 4 nights. It is a charming small city centre hotel. Perfectly placed for all the main sights. Wenceslas Square (street.?) and the old town square, complete with astronomical clock, are just a few minutes away as long as you take the right street route.! There are several options..! The river and Charles... More

We arrived by cab from the train station and were lucky that the taxi driver knew this one way street. The hotel is charming with the check it in, check it out large key fob of yesteryear. Our room had no safe but plenty of closet room. A small fridge, wifi and a nice flat screen. The bathroom had good... More

Fantastic location right in the heart of the Old town but still surprisingly quiet. The room was clean and everything worked as it should. The female receptionist was helpful and polite. Downside, the breakfast area really needs a re-think, it just doesn't work in anything resembling a sensible manner. Food quality and variety is fine but the area is just... More

Very good value, very friendly, helpful staff, very clean rooms, good breakfast. The hotel is 2 minutes from the historic centre. The street outside can be a bit noisy with a few drunken revellers at night, but that is like a lot of Prague at the weekend. Other than that, no negatives. It was a great stay!

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
