We arrived by cab from the train station and were lucky that the taxi driver knew this one way street. The hotel is charming with the check it in, check it out large key fob of yesteryear. Our room had no safe but plenty of closet room. A small fridge, wifi and a nice flat screen. The bathroom had good... More

My girlfriend and I found this place after we decided to extend our stay in Prague by a day and our original hotel didn't have any room. We really lucked out. The receptionist was very helpful, found us a room on short notice, and hooked us up with a couple tours as well. He is a good salesperson haha. The... More

Fantastic location right in the heart of the Old town but still surprisingly quiet. The room was clean and everything worked as it should. The female receptionist was helpful and polite. Downside, the breakfast area really needs a re-think, it just doesn't work in anything resembling a sensible manner. Food quality and variety is fine but the area is just... More

Very good value, very friendly, helpful staff, very clean rooms, good breakfast. The hotel is 2 minutes from the historic centre. The street outside can be a bit noisy with a few drunken revellers at night, but that is like a lot of Prague at the weekend. Other than that, no negatives. It was a great stay!

Hotel is just in the centre. The street itself is not so busy. Has additionally built lift that is very small and in case you have a bigger luggage you have a problem with door closing. Breakfast was the best thing there. Rooms clean, wireless working ok. Perfect choice when booked via booking server on the "last minute".

To be fair, I got an economic room. My view was a wall that led to the kitchen. I heard all the kitchen noise as well as smelled their smoke when they took breaks. The location of the hotel is near perfect. I was not in my room much, but it felt like a gloomy cave when I was there.... More

+ The Staff - Very helpful and service minded + Good location + The Room was clean - The WIFI was not good, it worked every 15 minutes, so quite annoying. - I had my room next to a basketball court, so two mornings i woke up with the sound of a bunch of school kids cheering very loudly outside... Friendly staff but too much coming and going in the night and early morning. Lots of noise from outside clearly audible and not conducive to a good nights sleep. No lock on either toilet or shower. Lockers within the main room not ideal as early leavers making lots of noise removing their belongings. Cheap, cheerful and a good location but... More

Cannot fault this hotel. We were greeted at reception every time by friendly staff who spoke excellent English. Our room was lovely, the bathroom was spacious and spotlessly clean, the bed extremely comfortable. There was a good varied selection of food for breakfast each morning. The location of this hotel is perfect. Just turn right at the bottom of the... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
