The location is great: central, you can go by foot in Old Town Sqr., malls and all kinds of transport. Even tough is not the most modern (old fashion) or in perfect clean-liness (my friends had spider webs in their room, we didn't) I would go there again for the perfect placing and cheap price. In the area all accomodation... More

I read a lot of bad reviews for this place and was really worried about the stay but I don't think it was as bad as people say. Not a family hotel, but I stayed here with a friend and we spent all day looking around and then went out for food and drinks on the night so we didn't... More

i went to Praque and i stayed there for 2-3 nights. The breakfast was ok the rooms clean but old fashion it's look like a hostel than a hotel. The location its excellent but in my opinion its not a hotel for families with small childrens

It was a good location. nothing to say about it... but the receptionist was a bit unfrendly. Why do you work with people if it seems you would like to look just at your screen??? Maybe we bothered her because we were gay? I really don´t know. The guy who worked during the night, instead, was totally friendly with us.... More

Myself and 10 other lads from Essex stayed here over the first weekend of June. After reading previous reviews we were a little worried but overall it's not too bad. The rooms and beds are old and dated and reminded me of a butlins in the late 80's. There is a token TV in the corner with massive 7 inch... More

About 5 minutes walk from the Old Town, 15 minutes to Charles Bridge and 30 minutes to Prague castle if you are keen - close to trams and the metro if you aren't. There is a small convenience store downstairs and a few restaurants nearby (the majority of good restaurants appeared to be around the castle area though) Rooms ok,... More

I was in this hotel last summer. It is 10 minutes away from the centre what is excellent.Rooms are fine, but the food is very strange and isnt tasty. The worst thing is staff - one of the night guard- mr Peter was very rude and he was complaining at us and didnt want to help us.

Went in to ask for directions for somewhere and greeted by very rude staff that were not interested in helping us in any sort of way! Resorted into getting a taxi to our hotel that we were looking for which was actually only round the corner and cost us £10!! Hotel looked very shabby and would not stay here.

The hotel has an excellent location in the Old town of Prague. Near to the historical sites with good transport communication - tram, subway, bus. The building though is old and the hotel is not renovated. Miserable conditions in the rooms - not clean with unpleasant smell, old pillows and coverlets, no fridge, hair dryer, air conditioner or internet. Very... More

Stayed here on a golf trip last sept 2012 . Had a room at the front over the busiest road in Prague and got very little sleep for 3 nights !!! The breakfasts were as bad as i have ever had in a hotel or guest house . Watered down juice and wafer thin ham and cheese were on offer... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
