The best what the hotel can offer is its location, close to subway station Namesti republiky. Low cost hotel in the city centre, good value for the price. Old furniture, really cold room temperature (we stayed at hotel in November) and average breakfast room, don't expect too much.

This hotel is really well positioned for a tour of the city's main attractions. It is an old hotel and does not have fashionable trimmings...it is really a place to comfortably put the head down for rest and have a good breakfast before heading off on your day's adventures. But then again the price is really good and you can... More

I stayed in this hotel recently on a Stags, There is not much 10 drunk Irishmen usually complain about and this was no exception, They housed us in the attic rooms which were very small but maybe that was due to the fact it was a stags, Bathroom is very strange, the toilet and sink is in the shower tray,... We weren't expecting much given the other reviews, but as soon as we arrived at the hotel we were shown to a great big clean room, lovely modern bathroom. We stayed for 4 nights with minimum noise (just a bit of road noise which didn't bother us). Beds and towels changed daily. Breakfast was adequate (cereal, yoghurt, fruit, bread, juice, tea,... More

The room was a bit run down, but cleaned daily. The breakfast is quite good . The old town is about 200 meters from the hotel and there is a parking house in the nearby shopping center. You can get a parking card in the hotel and so is it only 1/3rd of the standard price. Funny detail is that... More

Hotel is located perfectly in the centre. From this point of view it is really excellent. Hotel has no own parking. You can park somewhere nearby in payed parking, but it is similar price like the hotel. WIFI is free of charge only in lobby, in the room You have to pay. Hotel is not for disabled people, the bulding... More

While logging in the young receptionist girl didn't even greet us. We paid the 3-bed room separate and she just sighed.. We didn't feel very welcome. Otherwise, the room was okay, not special. Breakfast was average, every morning kinda same. There were free Wifi just in reception. If you want it to your room you have to pay 3€/day/phone.

the location was great and the breakfast was ok. besides that: the bed was vey not comfortable, the shower and toilet made a lot of noise when we used them. for wifi and safe in the room you need to pay extra high prices, which is not mentioned during the reservation.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
