The location is excellent and the rooms were relatively big with a great breakfast. We arrived at 11:00 and managed to check in immediately. They had a lift which helped after i had injured my foot. We had a triple room with enough sleeping place for 5 people. it had a great view of the city and is located right... More

I went to Praha for the week-end from 27th of february to 1st of March 2015 with my girlfriend. The hotel looks good from first impression but ... First we arrived a bit earlier than expected but it was no problem, couldn't check in but left our bags in a storage room and so we could start exploring the city... More

I stayed at this hotel in December. What's best about tis hotel is the location and considering that I think price was relatively low plus breakfast included. The room was spacious and I think that was the reason it was little bit chilly inside. In summer it would have been perfect. The furniture was basic, looked quite old. The room... More

Came in here, and the to stank of a mix of sewer and smoke - and the stink wouldn't go away. When asked, the reception said that the hotel is non smoking but students smoke anyway. For the same price you could find much better places. I'm shifting out the first thing tomorrow morning

The hotel is in the centre of Prague. Very close to shops, bars & eateries. Maybe a ten minute walk from the "Old Town". The room I had was very basic & quite small, the door wouldn't open fully because the bed was in the way. I was out all day and ate elsewhere, basically I just slept there. For... More

The location is great: central, you can go by foot in Old Town Sqr., malls and all kinds of transport. Even tough is not the most modern (old fashion) or in perfect clean-liness (my friends had spider webs in their room, we didn't) I would go there again for the perfect placing and cheap price. In the area all accomodation... More

I read a lot of bad reviews for this place and was really worried about the stay but I don't think it was as bad as people say. Not a family hotel, but I stayed here with a friend and we spent all day looking around and then went out for food and drinks on the night so we didn't... More

It was a good location. nothing to say about it... but the receptionist was a bit unfrendly. Why do you work with people if it seems you would like to look just at your screen??? Maybe we bothered her because we were gay? I really don´t know. The guy who worked during the night, instead, was totally friendly with us.... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
