I loved it! The good: + great position - 5 minutes walk from Namesti Miru metro / tram station, 7-8 minutes walk from I.P. Pavlova metro / tram station, or, if you're in for a longer walk, ~20 minutes on foot to Nove Mesto and Wenceslas Square + handmade shop at the reception, really cute stuff + friendly staff +... A very welcoming and efficient staff. Our room was plenty big enough but yes the shower is a bit small but plenty of hot water. The breakfast is plentiful and of good quality. The Hotel is not too far from Wencelas Square but also close to tram and metro stops which get you to just about anywhere in this beautiful... More

The rooms are quite small with a tiny bathroom and microscopic shower. That is the only slightly negative thing about the place. The breakfast was certainly adequate with a homey atmosphere. The staff were pleasant and helpful. As listed in other reviews it is a short walking distance to the city center but if you don't have a good map... More

I stayed here for 3 nights whilst in Prague for a conference, but this hotel would equally well serve as a base when vacationing too. The rooms and public areas are spotlessly clean and pleasantly decorated (with a certain retro charm). The staff were very friendly, competent and professional. The breakfast was fine, though nothing exceptional. And the situation is... More

The staff was so kind and helpful. I'm always so impressed by how many languages the hotel staff speaks. At any rate, the Hotel Lunik is an excellent choice. The location is a short distance away from all the touristy stuff (which is great because it is so crowded in the Castle district), but right next to public transport. (Take... More

The room was clean and the breakfast very good. The highlight of our hotel experience was sleeping with our window open and enjoying the happy men who sang on their way home from the bars between 1:00 - 4:00 AM. Their singing and banter made us chuckle and we could shut the window when we wanted rest. We really did... More

Staying in Vinohrady & Vrsovice

Neighborhood Profile
Vinohrady & Vrsovice
Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this neighborhood standing on former vineyards developed very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century. Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live, and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars, cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy shops, it is a home for people from all around the world. This area blends expats, families, bohemian students and Prague’s hip community. It is a great place for breakfast in the morning, the best lunch places and a buzzing night life. After sundown, stroll down to Vršovice, the new center of the hipster, alternative and gay scenes in Prague.
