In this hotel I enjoyed wonderful time with my boyfriend. We were very satisfied. The service was excellent, lovely and friendly personnel, delicious food, nice and well equipped room... The location of the hotel is in the city center, very close to the Old town center, where you can visit most of the main sights by foot.

My partner and I have just returned from a weeks holiday in Prague. We stayed seven nights in the Art Deco Imperial Hotel. We can not praise this hotel enough. The hotel is glamourous without being ostentatious. We had a beautiful room; worth paying the extra 20 euros for. The staff were all extremely courteous and helpful. The breakfast room... More

I will start with the positives. The location is excellent, really close to the Old town center where all the main tourist attractions are. The hotel's architecture indeed is very high class, however not as stunning as the presentation website picture Art Deco. I got a standard room and i was pleased with the confortable environment. Impressed by the marble... More

Stayed on the 5th June as a start to our APT river cruise. Hotel was first class and the room more that adequate. The dinning room was amazing and the food first class. Location was excellent with all the attraction with in walking distance. Sadly my brother forgot to place his wallet in the safe and not until a few... More

Stayed 1-2 July 2012 - we upgraded from the standard room booked as part of a river cruise and it was well worth the extra 30 euros - the room was comfortable - very quiet with two bathrooms! Hotel location is excellent - around 15 mins from the town square - ALWAYS turn right out of the hotel otherwise you... More

stayed here with husband for my 40th birthday. Had a tough decision picking a hotel. Picked the Art Deco, cause the photos looked good. The hotel did look good, but the photos dont really tell the real story. While the art deco is nice, its not as big as it looks. Rooms are very small and very hot, extremely warm,... More

I stayed at the Imperial at the end of June 2012, travelling solo. I want to get this out of the way first and foremost. One thing I noted in the negative reviews here, is that the staff has been unfriendly and unhelpful. This could not be in more stark contrast to my experience. For me, the staff was fantastically... Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
