Service and location are great but the hotel does not look nearly as good in person as it does in the pictures. Our room was okay but the lobby and bar were dated.concierge was very nice as well. Overall our stay was fair but don't expect luxurious decor as the pictures make it seem.

This is one of best hotels in Prague. in 2007 great reconstruction of lovely Art Deco style building. How somebody can write "Old hotel but in good shape".... Very friendly staff, always available & helpful. They don´t promise, they do !

We stayed at the Art Deco Imperial in August for my birthday. The hotel is fabulous, staff are attentive and friendly, special mention must go to Martin Dolezal on reception! Special touches such as a complimentary bottle of wine for my birthday just added to the occasion. We upgraded our room for not much more and it was worth it.... More

We chose this hotel for the Art Deco interior. At check-in in the afternoon we were offered an upgrade to an executive bedroom for 30€/night. So, we first checked out the standard room and I must say, that it was in a very good shape, although the bath room was admittedly small. However, this room would have met our needs.... More

Nice hotel maybe not 5 stars by US standards but at least 4 stars. Old hotel but in good shape. The beds were very hard. The restaurant Imperial Cafe in the hotel was very good. Breakfast that was part of my room rate was very good.

The hotel is not a luxury style one, but it is comfortable, but it's best feature is art deco style. I really liked the restaurant with beautiful chandeliers. the rooms are also decorated in that style. Very attractive. The local is very close to the historical centre - 5 min walk. Prague is not a huge city, we walked around... More

Stayed here in this fabulous hotel with the wife. The cleanliness and service is fantastic. Art Deco is an understatement! Everywhere you look it hits you from the taps to the walls, high ceilings and mirrors. The mosaics in the entrance and restaurant are stunning. It is only a five minute walk from the old town square which makes it nice... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
