My wife and I stayed at The Imperial for 4 nights and we were amazed by the quality of the hotel. Our stay was just out of this world. The rooms were superb. Very large with excellent comfy beds. Two toilets. Lovely bathroom with bath and shoer over. There were copious amounts of soaps, etc., supplied every day. We had... More

The rooms are large and art deco style. Baths are very high to get into if your an older person. Rooms on first floor are noisy and vibrate due to the passing trams, bus etc. These does not stop during the night. We moved to room on 6th floor due to the noise this was much better and staff were... More

This is a nice restaurant full of history, great art deco interiors. The food is for the ones who appreciates the culinary art at its best: look, taste, smell! Very attentive service, great piano player. An elegant restaurant for a special night out!

you wouldn't expect it in Prague, but its an experience. if you can appreciate the art in ART DECO, this is like a mecca, great service small rooms though , and the so called PRESIDENTIAL SUITE, which i did book, was nice, but far from presidential. but nice none the less. front desk staff go the extra mile to help... The service was excellent. We asked to change rooms for a better view, that was immediately accommodated. The breakfast in the fabulous Cafe imperial was very good quality, service and value. The location is great, 2 minutes walk from the 'Republic Square' and 10 minutes to the Charles Bridge. The trams, buses and metro are on the doorstep, with all... More

The Art Deco hotel is well situated and within easy walking distance of the old town. We were quite surprised to find the rooms classical in style unlike the lobby and restaurant. The rooms were cozy and, by European standards, were quite large and very well appointed. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and great service and it... More

Stayed with a party of six on a long weekend in this beautiful city. We were made very welcome, comfortable bar for pre dinner drinks, helpful concierge and the restaurant was a bonus (Imperial Cake with Dates was a favourite). Excellent buffett breakfast. Would happily recommend to friends.

Picked up at the airport by limo, friendly driver (with local tips - where to visit, eat etc), and driven to the hotel. Quick check-in by delightful staff who continued to be helpful throughout my five day stay. The photos of the Imperial which I'd seen before I left are accurate: this is a magnificent Art Deco themed hotel, with... More

Great art deco hotel. The room was large and very comfortable. All the amenities you could ask for. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful with a large range of hot and cold foods and even a made to order omelette bar. Given our limited stay in Prague, we would however have preferred to be... More

This hotel is just amazing. We stayed here for 5 nights and at the beginning of July and we can not say enough great things about this fabulous hotel. From the moment we were collected by the hotel Limousine service from the airport to the moment they dropped us back, we were treated like royalty. The decor, the rooms, the... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
