A beautiful hotel near the center of Prague. The staff were friendly and very helpful, the restaurant was very art deco with wonderful ceramic tiles. The room was clean and comfortable and, as it was at the back of the hotel very quiet. Would definitely stay there again.

Situated just on the edge of prague's central area, a few minutes easy stroll from the main sites, this is a hotel with a difference. If Art Deco is your thing you will be awestruck by the restaurant. Even if it isn't, there is a lot to impress. We paid for an upgrade to an executive room - 410 -... More

Really enjoyed our stay and the staff were excellent, especially as we had a 10 year old and they treated her like a little lady. Room was spacious and although a little dated, very clean and comfortable. 5-10 mins from old square and surrounded by many restaurants. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Loved the christmas markets and it wasn't too... More

This hotel is perfectly situated within walking distance of shopping, Christmas markets, and a concert hall. The concierge did a great job making dinner reservations for our three night stay. Breakfast buffet at the Imperial Café was fantastic! The rooms are large and spacious. There's a beautiful gym and spa within the hotel.

stayed in hotel for 3 nights midweek in January 2015. The staff at reception spoke excellent English, with check in being very efficient. the room on the first floor was well equipment, spotlessly clean and a good size. The only minor fault was that it was situated at the front of the hotel, with a tram line directly outside, the... More

We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, from the friendly and efficient staff at Reception to the cheery (and very efficient chamber maids to the excellent restaurant staff, both for breakfast and dinner. The room, 103 , was large and well equipped and unlike other similar hotels, had a decent coffee machine rather than the usual instant... More

Dear Guest, We are honoured by your review! I hope the weather was to your liking too. We are having a rather mild winter season this year, that gives a great opportunity to visit off season. More

Rooms were lovely and clean, with period furnishings. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet was amazing, served in a beautiful room with huge porcelain wall coverings; staff was professional. Close to old city hall and walking distance to old town. Would highly recommend this hotel

Only spent two nights at the hotel but found it very comfortable, clean, excellent facilities. The rooms are nicely decorated with everything you would expect in a 5* hotel, minibar, TV, Iron, kettle etc. Beds and pillows comfy. A/C/heating there if needed. Reception staff always kind and obliging. The restaurant connected to the hotel serves a good varied breakfast and... More

Arrived on 15th January for a several times returned short break in Prague..Art Deco Imperial having good reviews drew our attention. Beautiful original Art Deco dining room and reception rooms, Stunning!...The hotel, built in 1914 was refurbished recently , sadly the room furniture was rather too modern and contrived , trying to look deco but couldn't quite make it however... Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
