Art Deco Imperial is a classic mid-sized hotel within walking distance of a huge historic district in Prague. It is beautifully remodeled with gorgeous finishes both in the bedrooms and in the bathrooms. The rooms are so spacious with very high ceilings and huge windows. The art deco is preserved throughout the public areas of the hotel. I felt 100%... More

3 day visit to Prague and this hotel was perfectly placed to enjoy everything the city had to offer. Just around the corner from the very start of the old town yet next door to a good indoor shopping complex. The hotel is very clean , well staffed and attractive. We up graded to an executive room which was well... More

Very conveniently located. Access to attractions, shopping, transportation. Nice, spacious rooms, but one big deficiency - getting into the bath tub was a challenge specially for my wife who has had knees surgery. Front office stff, specially the concierge were helpful and knowledge-able. Bell hops were somewhat surly. Breakfast buffet was outstanding!

We stayed here for one night as we were outbooked by another hotel. The staff were great and happy to accommodate any requests. After a busy day out we couldn't be bothered to go out so we enjoyed a delicious room-service meal. Breakfast was another top which needs to be mentioned aswell as the fast on-site limousine service! Happy to... More

The hotel is quite pretty and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant. Our room was good-sized, nicely decorated, very clean and the marble bathroom had the amenities you want and expect. We had an issue with the hotel-arranged car service, which caused us to be late to a concert. The concierge was apologetic and and the next night, the hotel... More

Everything about this hotel was fantastic but special mention must go to the Restaurant, the food is out of the world and the Concierge, Vaclaw who was unbelievably helpful. We bought a jacket in a local shop that needed adjusting and the assistant didn't speak any English and our Czech was limited. We rang Vaclaw who organised everything including picking... More

This place is stunning, whether you like art deco or not - recently refurbished this place is opulent and harks back to an age where good service and polite manners were the norm. The high tiled dining/breakfast room is amazing with quality and quantity of breakfast astonishing. By this time, you may be thinking that we found this place pretty... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
