Stayed in the Imperial suite, which was nicer in reality than the photo's suggested. Good size overall, lovely large bathroom tiled in onyx, excellent facilities. Disappointing Mattress, pillows and duvet, which could all have been better quality. Had an excellent lunch one day in the Cafe which is definitely worth a visit. And the breakfast buffet was much better than... More

Surprisingly smaller than the photos would give you to believe, but very nicely restored with beautiful tilework. Room was big and the bed was comfortable. Lovely old bath tub and would have appreciated a bath, but water pressure and lack of hot water in the shower was a problem. Best part was the buffet breakfast and supper there in the... More

The Art Deco is located in a most perfection location, just by the Palladium and several minutes away from the old clock square and all the hot spots of the old town. It's that perfect that we did not take the Metro, not even once! Imagine that! The breakfast buffet was marvelous, the room was beautifully decorated and the staff... More

A brilliant hotel which I would highly recommend when staying in Prague. The hotel itself was great, large, clean rooms and a delicious breakfast with lots of choice. The staff were happy to help with booking tours/taxis which made everything very easy. Wifi (free) was also very reliable all over the hotel. The hotel is really beautiful and if you... More

Booked three executive rooms for three couples on the 17th until the 20th April 2015 The rooms were immaculate and the staff professional and friendly. Rooms were on the second floor and were very quiet. The hotel is centrally located and in easy walking distance of most attractions. Breakfast buffet was great and the evening meal we had in the... An interesting reconditioned (since Soviet days) hotel, a bit of a time warp really, but very comfortable and service, helpfulness and ambience just what we hoped for. The restaurant is outstanding for its décor, ceramic tiles everywhere. Excellent food to suite all tastes I would imagine.

My friend and I stayed at the Art Deco for 3 nights in April. We used the hotels taxi service to pick us up and return us to the airport and I am pleased we did as it was so easy and I had heard that some Prague taxi drivers over charge. The hotel is lovely inside. The staff were... More

This hotel is art deco in every detail, including the marble in the bathrooms. I just loved the anteroom next to the lobby and even eating in the Imperial Café. The service was great. The hotel is located just at the fringe of Old Town and is within walking distance of the castle itself (if you can do uphill climbs).... More

Stayed here over valentines. Beautiful hotel. Upgraded our room at check in and was well worth it, we had two separate toilets in the room! Loved the speakers in the bathroom to listen to music whilst in the shower. L'occitane toiletries. Breakfast excellent, on valentines morning we were served champagne and chocolate strawberries! Room service brought in on a fully... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
