We had a 2 night stay here and it was perfect from the start. We were met from the airport by a hotel chauffeur who took us to the hotel (for an additional charge). Very nice man who gave us guidance on what to do and see in the city. Checked in, and as the room wasn't ready, went for... More

This hotel is the perfect location for everything in the beautiful city of Prague. You can see the Charles Bridge from the front door, and you are literally 4/5 minutes walks from the old town square and all the amazing restaurants that are there. We ate in the restaurant and it was a good and as cheap as anywhere else... More

We were most unfortunate to get allocated to room 21 there was a constant drip from a drain outside this room that didn't stop 24/7 my three nights in this room nearly drove me insane. I came home exhausted. Even with the window shut you could still hear the noise dripping all the time.

We found this hotel very charming. The paintings and the large, golden frames, the narrow stairs and heavy courtains made us feel like in a Harry Potter movie. We stayed at the top floor and did not hear any noise. To avoid the cigarette smell coming into the sleeping room, keep the door between the small hall/bathroom and the sleeping... More

The hotel is well situated, right at Charles bridge and close to the main square. The staff was friendly and helpful. The wifi worked well and breakfast was above average. There is a club/bar in the basement of the hotel but we couldn't hear it from our room. But.... The entire hotel smelled of cigarettes and our room was somehow... More

While we did not stay at this hotel on our visit we ate there quite a few times and found it excellent. They have a terrace restaurant outside just a few steps from Charles Bridge and the menu is very extensive and great value with something to suit everyone. Staff were efficient and courteous and the food was well presented... More

Charming hotel with nice old style rooms (in good condition) just next to the Charles bridge (east side). Comfy beds, nice bathroom, fresh. There is a busy music club in the basement, but even though we had a window from where we could see down through the glass roof in to one of the bars we couldn't hear any noise... More

We just spent 5 days here, it was great very happy friendly staff. The room was very good and clean. Restaurant brilliant as was the breakfast. Would definitely recommend. Great location too. I would recommend this hotel more to couples than families. Right in the midst of everything.

I got a tip from a Czechian friend to stay in this hotel, and that is the most Perfect hotel. I love it, and have stayed here everytime when we are in Prague. The hotel is in the middle of Prague centrum, and Karlova bridge just in front. Lovely antique style in the rooms. The staff is so sweet and... More

This hotel was not booked by ourselves so we did not know where we are going. Unfortunately if there is no possibility to change a room and you have a room placed to street as we did, there is no chance of any sleep. The club and also 24/7 restaurant just under our room is for sure perfect for the... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
