Too expensive for what it is said on their website. I am a person who travels solo very often during the year and I consider myself a person who is satisfied with only a good bed, a clean room and a simple breakfast. Nevertheless, the U Stare Pani Hotel did not leave up to my expectations. I got the impression... More

This year we opted for Prague as the destination of New Year's Eve. This hotel was a great selection. Highest rate goes to the position: less then 5 min walk to the old town square - the best position to us, as we loved that square, because it is beautiful and the center of life in Prague (there were lots... The employees do not know the word service, nor the word smile. The breakfast is very disappointing. Nicely situated, though – it’s not worth the money. The Jazz Club, when open, turns out to be a club for heavy rock.

Nice place, no complaints. I was with a group, so don't know what the cost was. The location was perfect if you want to see old town square and you can easily walk to Charles Bridge and other tourist attractions. Good, substantial breakfast included.

Fabulous location .High standards throughout the hotel.Lovely continental breakfast. We could hear music downstairs one night but it didn't interfere with our sleep as it finished early enough.I recommend this hotel for all age groups not just old ladies!😄Prague in general has a wonderful vibe and this hotel's location allows you to enjoy it to the full

Excellent position in the centre of Prague, 2 minutes walk from the Clock square. Rooms very clean. The breakfast is served until 10.00 am, but after 9.30 the buffet breakfast is not replenished. Very good price-quality ratio

Clean rooms and spacious. Attentive staff after a no-show taxi at the airport, snafu. Adequate for the price. When I was sick, brought tea and would not accept a tip, very kind. I loved the pedestrian only area towards old town. Breakfast was a smorgebord with variety from day to day. Stayed 3 nights.

We stayed here based on reviews from trip advisor and we were definitely not disappointed! The rooms were very spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable and the location was very hard to beat. We were so close to all of the main sites, attractions and the shopping but didn't have to sacrifice and stay in the tourist area. Great... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
