This is a well-appointed hotel in the centre of the city. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful. Prague has quite a compact centre so there is much within walking distance. The journey from the airport involving bus and metro is straightforward, taking around 40 minutes from the terminal to the hotel. The... More

Visited with my girlfriend last week and we had a great time! The hotel is very smart, with a lovely room complete with a kitchenette! Price was very reasonable and the location was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast in the morning was also great! Would definitely go back.

This hotel is centrally located in Prague. We enjoyed our breakfast very much because it was very extensive. We had a studio room, that was very well equiped. Use the metro, it is very near. When you come by car use P & R, it costs only 5 euro a day.

We were three couples enjoying Praha and this hotel. Perfect location, good service, nice and spacious rooms. Good breakfast!! We will choose this hotel next time, if summer- room with a balcony. These rooms had a great view!

Dear Heidi, thank you for your review. I am very happy that you want to come again. In summer you can also have a breakfast on the terrace overlooking Franciscan garden as well as coffee or cold bevarage in the afternoon as we opened a new café here. Kind regards Peter Dvorak General Manager More

The windows don't close properly and are a bit blind and not clean (very difficult to clean them outside, the hotel to the square has an old glass front from the later communist days..) Quite loud in the night, if you want it quiet please book rooms to the back, not to Wenzel Square.

Dear Gerhard, thank you for sharing your opinion here. The facade of the building is historical - from 1930's - and as you stated quite difficult to wotk with.Altough I am sure you will find it clean on your next visit. Should you prefer quiter room, please ask for one at front desk or prior during the booking and we... More

3 out of 5. The TripAdvisor rating states "average" and that sums this place up well, everything is average. This is a 3 star hotel not a 4 star hotel. If you can get a room for €100 average is fine otherwise there has to be better places. We didn't choose this hotel, the Ramada up the road was "overbooked"... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
