The hotel is a walk of only a couple of minutes to Old Town Square, where you can catch the Hop-On-Hop off bus. It was nice staying in a Czech hotel and not a big American chain. There's a superb but reasonably priced restaurant in the hotel building. The hotel has a good breakfast at a good price. There's an... More

There can't be a better location than this in the entire city. It's a 1 minute walk to the Astronomical Clock and Old Square. A 10 minute walk to Wenceslas Square, a 10 minute walk to the Charles Bridge. Absintherie is about a 20 second walk. It's a 5 minute walk to the Staroměstská metro stop. If you want to... More

Location is great. You just turn round the corner and find yourself in the heart of Prague, in the Old Town Square, Breakfast is very good, with international and regional food. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Definitively, a great choice if you visit Prague.

The hotel was very well situated, close to the historical center and accessible by feet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel kept its charm, it is not a modern without life hotel you find everywhere, but well a place full of charm. The breakfast was also fine. All in all a place to recommend.

The great thing about the hotel is its fantastic location in the center of the old town, just a step from City Hall and the Cathedral. It's only a short walk from public transport. The hotel itself is very good, an ancient building, but the rooms are modern. Breakfast is good and staff are very helpfull. Highly recommended, will gladly... More

Rooms are smaller and this is a old hotel, but it is in a perfect location steps from the Old Town Square and the Clock. Great restaurants right their. Hop on hop off on the other side of the square, things going on in the square all the time and Lots of people. Other squares close by and great shopping... More

Fabulous stay at hotel rott! Kind and very courteous staff, amazing location in historical little square and only a 2 min walk to Astrological clock in the old town square, lovely restaurants and the heart of the old towns retail district. Rooms spotlessly clean and classically decorated, beautiful views out into little square. Special note about Martin the hotels driver... More

The location of the hotel could not have been better. Within walking distance of most major sights. The hotel was clean, the room was very comfortable, their restaurant was oustanding and the staff was friendly. Also, we highly recommend using their professional transport service, luxury car, to get to and from the hotel, train station or airport. Our driver, Martin,... More

Dear guests, I am hesitating what to say, as I often miss words when I am to answer such reviews, as that one of yours. Perhaps the English language has more ways how to express gratitude, and I only do not know them, but everything I can say is thank you. Thank you for your stay with us. Thank you... More

My husband & I have just enjoyed a 3 night mid-week break at the Rott. We avoid large chain hotels & found that the Rott met our needs perfectly. Stylish but modern, our room was spacious, clean and bright, with plenty of lighting for reading etc; the bed was very comfortable; there was plenty of wardrobe space; the WiFi was... More

Located right off Old Town Square , it was the best location for first time tourists. Room was huge and very clean. We had a little trouble with A/C and with wireless but nothing that ruined our stay. Staff was quick to troubleshoot all problems. Breakfast was very good. Of course being an American used to walk in or overhead... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
