Got moved here from our first hotel (Hotel Charles Central) due to work being done on our room (apparently). Absolute disgusting room. This is not a hotel this is a very cheap looking hostel. In fact, I could find better hostels for less money than this hotel charges. Went on a couples retreat and we were put into a room... More

The one and only positive thing is location of the hotel. Uncomfortable beds, no wifi during 3 days of my staying, unwilling staff, poor breakfast. It was really disappointing for me and my friend. I'm sorry, I can't recommend Jerome House at all

I stayed here for 6 days over Christmas. It's nice and central, close to lots of bars, museums, shops, and of course the Xmas markets. My room was large and clean. The staff were super friendlt and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent.

Extra cheap hotel in the very center of Prague, at walking distance from all the main attractions. My room and bathroom were big, quite simply furnished but clean. Breakfast was rich, maybe a bit Poor of sweet food for Italian peoples' taste, but actually in north or east European countries it is usually like this. An excellent solution for people... More

Location of the hotel is great although I'm not sure whether they have parking. But what bugged me the most was the entrance. Whenever you want to enter you have to ring a bell and wait. Also breakfast was good but not great!

A quiet street - but ask for a room on the rear side, because this is a student quarter and there is a Cuban bar and popular café in the nearby street. Friendly and helpful staff. Sober breakfast, more for vegatarians than for scrambled-egg lovers (absent!). Rooms are well cleaned. At walking distance of the old center, the Vlatava river,... More

You can go to most of the city's attractions on foot by Jerome House Hotel. The location is great, the bedroom is fine and clean. When I stayed there, I didn't notice too much noise or messy people like someone else said.

Be aware when booking this place that it's not really a hotel, it's more a student hostel. Expect gangs of young people gathering outside the hotel until the small hours getting drunk and shouting, midnight 'games' involving running up and down the corridors screaming, and the occasional empty buffet table at breakfast if you're unlucky enough to come down just... On my fifth trip to Prague, I booked this hotel for me and 3 friends, we booked a little late, and none of the hotels I've stayed in before had rooms available, so we were prepared for a little lower standard, even though the price was higher than we're used to. When we checked in, we were presented with our... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
