We were referred to Jerome House from another within the same company following its booking system that failed to register our confirmed booking. The transfer took about 15 minutes drive and our arrival coincided with that of a large group of tourists. The situation was rather messy with only 1 staff at the reception counter. Further delay was attributed to... More

We were moved here after our original hotel was overbooked. The hotel looks pretty bad from the outside, as the building is covered with graffiti. The staff were friendly with decent English. The room we were given was very basic, with only the essentials. Bathroom was very small. The part that made really made me not enjoy my stay was... More

The staff at Jerome House were extremely helpful. We booked only one day in advance and they showed us the rooms that were available so we had an option of choosing. Not only that, they also let us use the dining hall for small personal snacks we brought along that needed to be heated, and let us use their cutlery... More

This hotel is in a good location for exploring the city, near enough to make all the sights accessible but far enough to be away from the crowds,The staff are very polite and helpful, the rooms are clean but basic, breakfast area a bit tight if the hotel is busy, some good bars and restraunts nearby.

If noise induced lack of sleep, small rooms, backbreaking beds, sauna temperatures, desolate towel hanger, transparent curtains, stale bread and inflexible cancellation terms are your thing please do choose this tourist trap also for its excellent location.

Stayed there 3 nights 4-7 June 2015, we were a group of 20 ladies. We occupied the 4th floor, some rooms are of a nice size some others, huge and some small as a closet. No AC, only 1 roof window, no view, and very noisy at night (side of Havanna Bar accross the street). No own restaurant, but can... More

We were moved to this hotel from an apartment block in the middle of nowhere... On first arrival thought the hotel looked OK, bit mismatched but OK nevertheless. Rooms were disgusting, dirty and things were broken ie my bed and cupboards. My bed collapsed, told the staff about it hoping they'd replace it, didn't bother doing anything. So called WiFi... More

Got moved here from our first hotel (Hotel Charles Central) due to work being done on our room (apparently). Absolute disgusting room. This is not a hotel this is a very cheap looking hostel. In fact, I could find better hostels for less money than this hotel charges. Went on a couples retreat and we were put into a room... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
