We've stayed in Hotel Constans a number of times now, and have had some amazing rooms. The hotel looks small but behind the modest entrance lies some grand and beautiful rooms, unusual for city centre hotels. You feel like you're gettin a taste of Prague in days of old. Th location is amazing too with the castle close by and... More

This is a wonderful small hotel, close enough for a quick walk to the center, but away from the tourist crowds. The rooms are large and comfortable, the restaurant is very good, and the staff is great!

The rooms were lovely and big. Very clean. Staff were willing to help. The only downside was the breakfast buffet could have had more variety. Other than that it was wonderful. If I came back to Prague I would definitely choose this hotel again.

I've been in this hotel a few times already. It's a great value for money. Huge and nicely equipped rooms, nice breakfast and a great location of the hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They have Wi-Fi facilities and a garage if you are coming with the car. It's a bit unusual but at least your car is in... More

Great hotel which was good value for money. The rooms are very large-we had two couches in our room. We had a double bed which would have been much more comfortable if we were given one doona rather than two single bed doona's. There is free wifi connection in the room however the room we were given struggled to get/keep... More

I visited Prague for a 3 night stay in January 2015, this hotel offered a great location - minutes from the castle, and around 10 minutes to the old town square. However the hotel is located in a quiet street - so you don't have lots of outside noise. All staff members were welcoming and friendly - they were happy... More

Just returned from a 4 night stay to Prague and we stayed at this hotel. Great location - quiet area but within easy walking distance to the castle, Charles bridge and beyond. The room we had (29) was enormous with a super king size bed, sofa lovely furniture and a great bathroom. The room was cleaned and towels replaced daily.... More

We were here from 28th dec 14 -2nd January 15 for New Years. The hotel is nice enough, I wouldn't say 5 stars for my review mainly due to the decor of the rooms. Kinda felt like staying in grandmas house, lots of frilly bits etc, but the rooms are large and there's plenty of storage/large beds etc. The things... More

Recently my son and his girlfriend were in this Hotel. They reported a very good experience, the location of the hotel near the USA embassy make the walking safe, day and night. The rooms are large and comfortable and the atmosphere within the hotel is warm and friendly.

Just returned from 3 nights at this lovely hotel.Hotel ideally located, less than 10 mins walk to Charles Bridge & castle. Incredible room with separate lounge area, bed and bedding really comfy, mini fridge, small sink, kettle etc very useful. Our room had an interconnecting door with room 45 and the first night we heard the neighbours. Reasonable selection available... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
