The hotel is located in a quite place and protected by security service of US ambassy nearby :) Very comfortable and clean, the buffet breakfest is not too rich, but sufficient. Scrambled eggs or pancakes are usually offered by waiters, but if not, it makes sense to ask about. The staff on reception is friendly and willing to help. Pick-up... More

Upon arrival to the hotel the reception clerk reported that today was his second day. He could provide no alternatives to the 28 euro parking and wasn't able to okay an upgrade without absent manager'so okay. The next day's clerk, Jan, was terrific as he was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. On day two of three night stay room wasn't cleaned... More

The hotel was convenient to the tram, a reasonable walk to the Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge and the Kafka Museum. It is on a quiet street down the block from the American Embassy and other Embassies, so one feel fairly secure. It was reasonably priced. The staff was quite helpful in explaining how to get around the city.

We've stayed in Hotel Constans a number of times now, and have had some amazing rooms. The hotel looks small but behind the modest entrance lies some grand and beautiful rooms, unusual for city centre hotels. You feel like you're gettin a taste of Prague in days of old. Th location is amazing too with the castle close by and... More

This is a wonderful small hotel, close enough for a quick walk to the center, but away from the tourist crowds. The rooms are large and comfortable, the restaurant is very good, and the staff is great!

The rooms were lovely and big. Very clean. Staff were willing to help. The only downside was the breakfast buffet could have had more variety. Other than that it was wonderful. If I came back to Prague I would definitely choose this hotel again.

I've been in this hotel a few times already. It's a great value for money. Huge and nicely equipped rooms, nice breakfast and a great location of the hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They have Wi-Fi facilities and a garage if you are coming with the car. It's a bit unusual but at least your car is in... More

Great hotel which was good value for money. The rooms are very large-we had two couches in our room. We had a double bed which would have been much more comfortable if we were given one doona rather than two single bed doona's. There is free wifi connection in the room however the room we were given struggled to get/keep... More

Dear xTina, thank you for sharing your review, it´s gonna be helpful for our work in the future. We´ll do our best to fix the problem with the wi-fi connection, but remember, this is very old building with really strong walls. We will gladly welcome you again in our hotel, hope you´d spend good time here again. Kind Regards Jan More

I visited Prague for a 3 night stay in January 2015, this hotel offered a great location - minutes from the castle, and around 10 minutes to the old town square. However the hotel is located in a quiet street - so you don't have lots of outside noise. All staff members were welcoming and friendly - they were happy... More

Just returned from a 4 night stay to Prague and we stayed at this hotel. Great location - quiet area but within easy walking distance to the castle, Charles bridge and beyond. The room we had (29) was enormous with a super king size bed, sofa lovely furniture and a great bathroom. The room was cleaned and towels replaced daily.... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
