Location is the biggest advantage of this hotel you can go everywhere by walk. Room was tidy but you can find some old stains on carpet but overall it was clean. I think the biggest disadvantage is costumer service and I see I'm not the only one who think that. And also no free wi-fi.

Dear guests, thank you for your commentary. Yes, wifi here is not free of charge, but we have one of the cheapest price for accomodation in our location in the centre. Itś a pity that you didn´t describe what kind of "customer services" you missed. It could help us to improve our services. Have a nice day! MH More

The room was basic (no kettle) but clean. Breakfast was nothing fancy but there was a typical continental selection. The hotel is in a very good location for exploring the city with the tram stop right outside (and it's an easy walk if you visit in the summer). There are lots of places to eat and drink nearby. Slight negative... More

We stayed here four years ago and returned this year for a five night Christmas break. The hotel has been freshened up since our last stay - rooms are spacious, airy and clean. The breakfast is solid and provided variety - it is a standard continental selection. Excellent location for us, away from tourist throngs. A range of reasonably priced... More

We have just returned from a three day stay in Prague staying at the Atos. First the good points; the location is superb with most places within walking distance we didn't need the tram. The room was very comfortable and the hot shower was great after walking in the cold. Unfortunately the bad points; the room was generally clean, bins emptied... More

For what you pay this hotel is good value. Clean, comfortable but a bit tired in places. Lovely staff and a reasonable buffet breakfast (better then we expected). Just a short walk (5 mins) from Charles Bridge which leads you straight in to the old town. Plus close to the Observation Tower and the Lesser Town. Trams stop just outside.

Well, if you expect Hilton Hotel - then it's not, but if you plan to stay a few days in Prague for a low price - this is fantastic authentic hotel! The rooms are not too big, but enough for your stay. Everything is very clean, no noise from the street, the beds are commutable - just fine! The breakfast... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
