Everything, except room service, was OK but that's it. The hotel is noticeable and acceptable only by its combination of location and prices which were quite low considering the location (near the downtown). If you are in Prague for the first time and want to get a good first impression, I wouldn't recommend it - it's better to find some... More

This hotel was very accommodating with a pleasant reception and breakfast staff. The room was small but neat, clean and serviceable, and the breakfast was the usual continental fare but pleasant. The price was amazing and this hotel was definitely a BIG bang for the buck with breakfast included. Had to pay for the internet which was about the price... More

The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We have read about how active and professional the thieves are in Prague before going. However, despite all the precautions taken, an elderly member of our group was pick-pocketed on the second day of the stay. The staff of the hotel was very helpful in directing us... More

Initially it looks ok but then reality struck. Bedrooms were filthy and that's an understatement. We had 3 rooms for 4 nights and they were never touched at all in that time. Beds weren't made, towels weren't changed even when left on the floor as requested by them!!! The breakfasts were awful too. Machines for supposedly hot drinks that came... More

When ever we visit Prague we alway's stay at The Hotel Atos. When you arrive you are checked in A.S.A.P by their very helpful reception staff. Location could not be better, lot's of pub's,bar's and restaurant's very close by and within a tram ride or very pleasant walk to some great site's. We were in room 108,nice room 1st floor on... Stayed at this hotel for one night before moving on to another hotel around the corner. This hotel is very cheap and the rooms are big. However they are roasting! Just a small fan to cool you down. Handle constantly fell off the bathroom door and the TV was a mile from the bed and very small. The breakfast was... More

Hotel was nice, within walking distance to everything which made the trip easier. The front desk was extremely helpful and nice. The breakfast was good despite the reviews I read about it. The room was small but we didn't spend much time in there anyways so it didn't bother me. Only complaints were the bathroom was tiny and our air... More

I just got back from a short business trip to Prague during which I stayed at Hotel Atos. I booked the hotel less than a week before the trip for a very reasonable price. Since I was travelling by car,I requested a parking space (costs 16€ a day). The underground garage is somewhat far away and my spot was on... More

Dear guest, thank you for your commentary. First of all, if you have any complaints here, you should ask at the reception desk for a manager. Our hotel is in the centre, there are places for parking for all hotels around 400metres from us. Garage fee per day is 300,-CZK which is 11,-eur, not 16,-eur as you wrote. We dont´have... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
