This hotel was outstanding! Visited 10 cities in Europe and this one was by far the best.  We booked the romantic package and it was everything they said and more.  When we arrived, the people at the reception were so friendly. Our room was beautiful and we had robes and slippers waiting for us.  The bathroom was large and very... More

The building itself is gorgeous with lots of cute features like the stairs and balconies. I cannot fault the staff, very attentive and pleasant. The breakfast was the widest continental setup I've seen in a long time! Great way to start a day of walking!

Stayed here for 3 nights 12-15th Jan 15 for a city break. Room was large and luxurious, bathroom was a nice size as well. Furnishings were good if a little dated but that added to the character of the place. Staff were very helpful and their English was superb. Breakfast was delicious, boiled eggs undercooked but other than that a... More

Booked direct with the hotel on Christmas Eve as read the fab reviews - although I had changed several times arrival dates and times eventually after numerous emails I got there. Jakob Pech was extremely helpful and on what was probably a very busy evening I booked for February schools half term , it was really appreciated. Great price and... More

We stayed here for 4 nights on the occasion of our wedding anniversary and we couldn't have wished for anything better. Beautiful hotel, stylish furnishings, helpful and friendly staff. We dined in the restaurant and the bar and the food is excellent. We also made the most of the special offer of a romantic sauna and whirlpool followed by a... More

We have just returned from a very good low-cost weekend break in Prague, based in this hotel. We were very impressed with the comfort, cleanliness and efficiency of this hotel. It is very well maintained and has all you could wish for. The breakfast buffet was good, the service excellent and the coffee was great. Less than 10 minutes from... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
