I was a guest at this property for 12 nights in January on a business trip and I highly recommend it based on the location as well as the super professional and efficient staff. The front desk folks were wonderful concierges too. I had a suite and it was generous in size and very clean. Not sure if this is... More

The location is good, 5 minutes by foot to reach Vencelsas square, 3-4 minutes to the tram 22 (for reaching the castle). The room is big and comfortable; there were 2 tv screens (one in bedroom and one in front of the sofa). About the negative points: There is no lobby area, no places to seat near the reception. If... We stayed at this hotel with our two adult daughters for five nights. It is a little out of the way from the main tourist attractions but fine for all of us as we love walking - only 10 mins or so from Wenceslas square and a little further from Old Town. Consequently it was reasonably quiet (apart from fire... More

A large 1 bed apartment with usual Marriott refinements. A little more basic than the typical Marriott hotel but large bedroom, living/dining room and small kitchen. Not a power shower as little pressure. Everything worked perfectly. Free wifi with pretty good speed. Simple continental breakfast was Farouk basic but adequate. About 20mins walk from the Old Town but 5 mins... More

We booked this hotel because Marriott had a good deal on their website which also included continental breakfast. My concern was finding the hotel from the main train station (Praha hln) on a 5:30 pm arrival, already night time. Marriott sends nice emails before you arrive and I took this opportunity to ask for directions by public transport. I was... More

Great place to stay with sizeable and comfortable apartments at very reasonable prices. As a Marriott member I enjoyed free WiFi and breakfast. The hotel is situated on a quiet side-street and is still within walking distance to most of the main squares and tourist sites.

Had a apartment and there was lots of space and furniture was at a normal standard shower was lovely, the breakfast was very standard continental. I probably would stay again and the price was fab but the hotel is slightly out the main town by a five minute walk.

Those apts are in a walking distance from the train station and 2 long blocks from Wenceslao Square. Quiet neibourhood few restaurants (some with sports TV) but you have 2 "cabarets" in the way to Wenceslao sq. We got a superior apt. that was really big with a living and dinning room, and a complete kitchen. There is no free... More

This was our second stay at the Marriott Apartments. This time we had a studio , our last stay we had a one bedroomed apartment. The location of the complex on a quiet back street is disappointing at first until you realise how central they are , with Wenceslas Square only five minutes walk away. The apartments themselves are exceptionally... More

This place was in a perfect location to everything. We walked here from a train station since we didn't have bags (taxi ride would only be 5-7 mins), hotel let us check in early since we got there around 11. Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was big, spacious, very clean. We walked from here to downtown and all... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
