We actually had a few friends visiting (they were staying at a dfferent hotel) and everything felt like at home. We had a great 4 night stay at the Marriot. We had a studio room which was huge and much bigger than expected. The hotel is on a quiet street, and easy walk to Wencesleas Square and all the other sites. The room was well equipped for cooking simple meals. There is a full sized fridge and a good assortment... First off we are Marriott members, but we always try to be unbiased. We stayed for four nights in early June. We stayed on the sixth floor with fabulous views of the old town. The hotel is situated just out of the tourist rush, but just a short walk away. The room comes with a full kitchen, we however just... More

This apartment hotel is situated in a quiet street couple of blocks from metro station and other tramways stops. the hotel is located only few blocks away from some attractions and minutes away from others. The city of Prague is a walking city. the hotel staff was very helpful and super friendly, I cannot thank them enough for the good... More

As others have mentioned this is a Marriott Executive Apartments property, it is meant for long-term stays, so housekeeping twice a week (other than fresh towels and emptying the garbage daily). It also means you only get 2.5 MR points (instead of 10). The location was just okay. I barely noticed any red-light businesses around the area. It is relatively... More

A very comfortable place for five nights in Prague. With small food markets at the end of the block the kitchen made breakfast simple and snacks convenient. Tram 22 runs nearby and goes most places a tourist wants. Next to the tram stop we found a great local restaurant as well as banks and fast food. It’s an easy walk... More

This is a Marriott Apartment, not an Hotel and for someone that knows Prague this is the sloe to the centre, Prague 2,{5 minutes walk from the centre}. I stay here frequently and everything top-notch especially now when it is going through renovation. Martina and her team are doing an excellent job

This is part of the Marriott chain, and a great find in Prague. The hotel's neighborhood location is perfect, with good accessibility to the main tourists spots you will want to visit. Prague is a bit hilly and has lots of cobblestone streets, which can become slippery with some rain. Wear good shoes! We stayed in a 1-bedroom suite, which... More

There is good and not so good with this property, but after 4 nights here, I would likely return. The good? Price point, space, kitchen, quality of furnishings and cleanliness. The not so good? Location is not optimal (10 minute walk to Wenceslas square), the property needs updating, and the fitness room is lacking. Also, in researching this property, one... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
