5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Staff were excellent, room was top notch, service attentive. You need to splurge a little but totally worth it! Customer service way above expectations. You need to try out the roof-top restaurant: great views, excellent food. The garden is beautiful. Minutes from the Charles bridge and Old Town, the location is quieter than the more frenetic Old Town. Excellent location, excellent... More

An amazing Hotel perfectly positioned for a real taste of Prague all on its doorstep. We attended a wedding at the Aria, which was a perfect setting. From the moment we were picked up from the airport the services provided by the staff were 1st Class. Our bedroom was very spacious, with a wonderful view over the world famous gardens.... More

The hotel was close to Charles bridge and all the other landmarks. However, it was on a quieter side of the road but rest assured you are still surrounded with lots of restaurants once you step out of the hotel. Hotel guest has free access to the garden which is a must see. Beautiful and awesome view for photo takings.... More

The room size was perfect and the surrounding was quite and clean and it was a 3 minute walk to the Charles Bridge. We stayed on both sides and this was far more relaxing but in 5 minutes you could be in the midst of the crowds across the bridge

Dear singthan, thank you so much for your review and recommendations. Our location can become tricky, but it is always useful to look at the scale when looking at the map. We are basically in the city center of Mala Strana, the calmer district of Prague's city center two minute walk to the Charles Bridge. I am also glad you... More

Great location close to the Charles Bridge but on a quieter street. Close to great restaurants and landmarks. Hotel front desk and concierge were outstanding. Very helpful with providing suggestions on restaurants, beer gardens, local hangouts, and transportation when we needed it. The gardens are beautiful--a must see. And the afternoon tea was very refreshing.

Dear PhilyMandi, thank you so much for your lovely words. I am excited that you enjoyed our location and considered our front desk team and concierge excellent. Also, it is great that you enjoyed the gardens, did you know they are one of the oldest Baroque gardens in Europe? I hope to see you back again soon! Best regards, Jiri... More

When we decided to spend a long weekend in Prague, and having had such a wonderful experience in The Library Collection Casablanca Hotel in New York, we naturally gravitated towards another Library Collection Hotel and chose the Aria Hotel. What a wonderful decision this turned out to be, as from our very warm welcome from Leon and Roman at reception,... More

I stayed at the Aria with a friend prior to a bicycle trip across Central Europe. It's a fantastic location in the lesser village (under the castle) across the bridge from the busier Town Square. This region in Prague is quieter but absolutely within walking distance of the more hopping night life. The service is amazing and the rooftop restaurant... More

We have stayed in various mid to upper range hotels in London, Dublin, Paris, Rome, Florence etc. So far the Aria hotel in Prague has been the best in every aspect. Life is like a box of chocolates, and we were surprised when we entered our hotel in Prague. The hotel is very funky, keeping a traditional feel with all of the traditional touches it has within it. Not least of which is access to the beautiful garden behind the hotel. Don't miss out on the roof top terrace either, both... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
