Fantastic Hotel , beautiful location , surrounded by parks , for those who like to walk , approx half hour to center , along the river , nice restaurants and bars along the way , a local adventure as opposed to the jam in the center of town , the Breakfast is excellent , fresh cakes and cutlets , brown... Very nice location, on a hill overlooking Prague and a stone's throw from Mozart's villa (Bertramka). The building must have hosted a state guest house from the Communist years. Rooms are spacious, with high ceilings and a grandiose Soviet feel to them. There is a haute cuisine restaurant downstairs, which begs for clients. The menu is top class and the... More

We were travelling with my husband and stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. We liked everything. The hotel is on top of the hill and it is difficult to get to without car. No clue about public transport - we didn't use it this time. The building is beautiful - this is old house (2 or 3 floors or... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights in this hotel in April 2013. It was a decent hotel for the asking price. We had free parking on site. Our room was ok. Nothing fancy but nothing bad either. They had 2 beds squished together for the equivalent of an American queen size. The quality of the mattress was ok but... More

This hotel had spacious rooms (our booking was a family room) and was renovated with good bathroom fittings. It is a little distance from the old town and in fact you walk a good kilometer to get to the train station but we chose this hotel because it offered secure on site car parking. As long as you don't mind... More

I agree completely that this is a true gem. Carnia couldn’t have been nicer – arranging for airport pickup and drop-off (a 15 minute drive), a tour guide and dinner reservations. Her English was excellent, but all the day staff members speak very well. They let me use the computer to send a quick emails without charge (though the keyboard... More

The hotel is set in a quiet area of Prague, so you could sleep peacefully with absolutely no traffic noise. Also no noisy plumbing, which makes a change! The rooms were well furnished with everything you needed including a hair dryer. It was extremely well decorated throughout, immaculately clean and beautiful paintings all over the place. The continental breakfast buffet... More
