Hotel in easy reach of airport, about 30 minutes drive; very reliable taxi service available. Hotel is based in a central position in easy walking distance of centre as long as you are steady on your feet as mostly cobbled streets, for elderly or disabled probably a hotel closer to the town would be beneficial. We found it convenient for... More

The hotel is nice, the rooms are Spartan, but very comfortable. It is a good value for the price. The location is just OK... It is not really close to a metro station and a bit of a walk from Old Town, but the service and cleanness of the hotel can't be beat at the price. One minor complaint: the... More

Great hotel, reasonably priced. Very friendly, helpful staff. Staff was also very knowledgeable about the area. Rooms were clean & neat. The hotel is in a great location for walking & there is easy access to tram & subway lines.

Good location, good sized room with large ensuite (room 305), extensive breakfast menu, friendly staff.10 minutes walk to Old Town Square and Charles Bridge. Bar with drinks and food (Pavla was lovely). Restaurants nearby. No problems replacing doonahs/duvet (they had to be inventive as they don't have top sheets) as we find them too hot. Would definitely stay here again.... More

Great hotel for one day break and great value for money, very clean, good breakfast. Just 45 minutes walking distance of all of the major attractions, including Prague Castle, Charles Bridge and Old Town.

Great hotel for a short break, close to all the sights of the beautiful city of Prague. Pleasant staff, offered advise on local restaurants etc. Clean and large room with comfortable bed. Breakfast was strange, loads of smoked food, you could actually smell it on route to the breakfast room. No toaster and no fresh juice, reconstituted type I believe,... More

I stayed in room 007. The first morning I was woken up by the rubbish collection and the staff arriving and preparing breakfast. The configuration of the room was different, two single beds, one tucked behind a partitioning wall, so I requested a reading light, which was promptly provided and tried a second night. Over the weekend there was no... More

Dear Marie, First of all, I am glad we could deliver forgotten items back to yo. I would like to point out that these were definitely not stolen as you forgot it in the room safe box on your check out day yesterday. When you returned on the same day evening, new guests were already allocated in the room. As... More

Stayed here for a few nights after being very unhappy at another place. This was a great improvement and the price was excellent. I got there quite early in the morning and they let me store my bags until I came to check in. They let me check in early which was really nice as I was tired and wanted... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
