We recently visited for a midweek break. The hotel is in a great location, a short walk from the main historic attractions. The staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and they were very polite and friendly. The room was a good size and we thought we got vfm. It was a help yourself breakfast but plenty of it.... More

They were very kind and offered 2 doubles for the price of a triple since we needed a wheelchair accesible room and respected the price of the booking. They were out of their ways in order to keep their side of the offer and I appreciate it. The location is been mentioned before and yes, if you plan to stay... More

I stayed for three nights back in November and I am looking into returning to Prague and I will definitely book this hotel again. The staff were so friendly, helpful and the hotel was incredibly clean. My bed was comfortable and the room was a high standard for the price I paid. Impressed with the free wifi. Look forward to... On arrival all seemed great, happy and helpful reception staff, clean reception area and easy check in process. Sadly the beds and pillows in our bedroom were horrendous, pillow very lumpy and the mattress felt like a lump of hay bale! The breakfast was buffet style and very much in keeping with Czech style, however the 'breakfast room' did not... More

Dear HLB86, Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you were not happy about your tour you took on you last night in Prague. We recommend tour companies based on good reviews by our guests. Really good hotel and nice friendly staff. Ideal location for anybody wishing to get out and walk. The brewery next to the hotel is well worth a visit and highly recommend Prague to anyone. We couldn't believe how cheap things are and how good and friendly the people are.

Stayed here just over a week ago. Spent 5 nights with my mam. Rooms are spacious and beds comfy. Pity I always seem to get some idiot (walking) stampeding above my room around 3 am most mornings. Breakfast was included and of a decent choice but typical European Continental. Hotel in a good location and quite central.

This hotel is located in a quiet area but still only ten minutes from the Central part of Prague. Our room was large, spotless with a decent sized bathroom. Breakfast was served until 10am. There was a choice of cereal, fruit, meat, cheese, bread, cakes etc. No chance of going hungry. Staff were helpful and polite. The only fault we... More

The location is easy to find and very close to main street Narodni. Approx. 10 min walk to Charles Bridge or Wenceslas Square. The room was big, modern and clean. TV with multiple channels including BBC and CNN. The breakfast was good and generous with variety of choices. The hotel was kind to provide take-away breakfast (2 sandwiches, 1 bottle... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
