This hotel is in between the old and new town, it is not huge but very comfortable it was clean and tidy. The room was adequate for 2 people and the bed comfortable. You have to remember this an ex communist country. The old and new town were only 20 minutes walk this also included look at amazing buildings. Eating... More

Had a great stay at this very clean hotel in central Prague. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. our rooms were cleaned every day. Breakfast is good. although quite noise, and because there is no air-con, our room tend to get a bit warm. If you opened the windows then it was too noisy.I would still highly recommend this... We booked it through easy holidays. On the website it didn't state that the hotel doesn't provide AC but we sort of expected it to be there seeing the temperatures outside. On the arrival we were offered room with AC for additional 30€ / night. I found it starnge because after reading few reviews on here, one of the reply... More

Can't fault the hotel on service. Everything was fine including breakfast. Unhappy with fact that I had to give a 50 euro deposit for 'extras' on arrival after my credit card details did not register on the hotel's system. I used my credit card at the airport before arriving at the hotel, and most days during my stay in Prague... More

The hotel was okay and did the job. Needed a place to sleep and that's what I got. No air condition. Very, very problematic in the summer time. But hotel staff was nice. And it was a great location in terms of next to the river. But on a street with a lot of bars so kind of sketchy.

Honestly I was hoping so much better and I was glad that my stay at this hotel was finished. I booked a standard room it was nice but it had dust in some places...! At least I was expecting a room clean... And it had no A/C!! In a city like Prague so warm in the summer! And you can... More

I enjoyed this hotel. The location was conveniently close to the old town square. The front desk staff was most helpful and fluent in English. The (included) breakfast was outstanding...all the usual continental foods plus several czech dishes and desserts that varied each day. Great breakfast!

The hotel is on an off-main street location. Very close to the river, Charles bridge and the Old Town center are all within walking distance. Very close to some very good restaurants, and the Charles bridge night life. The staff is very efficient and polite, although, very unsmiling, which is very Czech. The breakfast, which came with the room was... More

We arrived to a very questionable neighborhood and to a reception that was anything but professional. We looked at the room which had no air conditioning and very few amenities. We contacted another hotel, made a reservation and called the cab back. This hotel was not at all as described in the web site.

The location is good really close from old town Charles bridge and the clock. Big rooms. The only thing I can say it's that it doesn't have A/C. We were very uncomfortable for it was a hot day. Breakfast is really basic

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
