Hotel is located really in the centre of old town, just about 200m from "Staromestske namesti". Rooms are nice equiped and big enough. Breakfest selection is fair (not to wide but fair) - just restaurant is not so close to every room (we had to go to other building for breakfest). Wifi connection is good. Hotel staff look profesional (not... More

Really nice hotel with large air conditioned rooms and easy, very easy access to the main square 1 minute away.lots of restaurants outside the hotel and easy to walk to most places in Prague. Loved it and will stay again.

Inside courtroom a must. Very quiet and comfortable. AC was great as outside it was 40C... my only complaint is that the young bell boy let both my wife and I climb up two flights of stairs with our suitcases, while he carried the room key. . . breakfast buffet was very good and on our last day they packed... The staff could not be more helpful, the location excellent, though a little difficult to find. Our room was less than expected and although it was air conditioned we did not have control oif the temperature. The bar/resto outside had a band that played until 4 a.m. luckily when we closed the bathroom door that muffled most of the sound.... More

Why I am giving this hotel 5 stars... Not because it is a fancy hotel with all the luxury bells and whistles of a Ritz-Carlton nor is it a chic boutique hotel newly renovated with up-to-the-minute amenities. What the Metamorphis offers is a diverting and charming backdrop that equals the old world beauty of Prague. The hotel was rebuilt in... More

Amazing location. Had a large very clean suite. And the breakfast was held in the attached restaurant located about 5-10 metes under ground. Beautiful stone breakfast room. 10 min to the Charles bridge another 10 min to their castle. Great spot!!!

Fab city! Fab hotel! In a Fab, central location! What more do you want? Breakfast? Yeah, that's pretty Fab too. In fact, there's not much that isn't Fab about this place. Apart from maybe the drunk singers who decided to give us their rendition of something incomprehensible at late o'clock (or was it early?) on our last evening... but that's... More

first time to Prague as a present from our children. Hotel in fabulous position and room was more an apartment than hotel room! Our windows overlooking street cafes . A stroll through the arch got us to the buzzing old square with street entertainers and lovely cafes/bars . Walked downt to river across Charles bridge and up to castle .... More

This hotel really is in a great location ! Right in the middle of old Prague, it's within walking distance to most places and attractions. The room that we stayed in was extremely clean and tidy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Only stayed here for one night but would definitely come again !

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
