This hotel really is in a great location ! Right in the middle of old Prague, it's within walking distance to most places and attractions. The room that we stayed in was extremely clean and tidy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Only stayed here for one night but would definitely come again !

I stayed in Metamorphis hotel in May 2010. We had a suite with one bedroom and a sitting room. The hotel is very well located very close to the astronomy tower so you're at the heart of the old prague as you step out of the hotel. The breakfast is served downstairs in part of the building that dates back... More

This location in the Old Town area, very close to the Tyn Church and to the Astronomical Clock, was fantastic. Good access to mass transit, the city center, restaurants, and a great place to walk and shop. The motel itself is on a very beautiful square and the hotel is well-maintained. The room was very spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally clean.... More

I would recomended it and i would like to stay there again.Very good price for value. From our window we had view of the back side of the church facing in the center of the old town square (full of life... Spacious and full of charm, we loved our stay here! Conveniently located with everything in walking distance. Clean and charming with attentive staff. Rooms have everything travelers need including a safe, sitting area, comfortable bed and full bath.

It has the best possible location, close to the old market and landmarks. It can be quiet, it can be noisy dependable on your room. Great breakfast and sometimes poor WiFi connection. Very friendly and helpful staff.

A bit of a challenge to find, but once there, the staff quickly ran ahead of my car to lead me into their inner courtyard to park my car. They have only a few spaces, and apparently don't reserve parking, but I was so glad to have it. Of course the location is about as central in the old city... More

I've stopped in this hotel now over 9 times over the years and to be honest I've never been disappointed. I think the rooms are lovely and great for a short brake. However it can be rather noisy if your room is on the back of the hotel due to a very noisy bar. It's a great bar to go... More

Stayed from 1st April to 3rd April 2015. We booked a "suite" which turned out to be an apartment with hallway, bathroom, kitchen area, dining area and then a separate and very large room with a comfortable seating area and 2 double beds. It would have been excellent for self catering if we had known. The location is superb, just... More

We chose this hotel because we read some very good reviews at TA. Maybe my expectations were to high, but it turned out to be a bit disappointing. Maybe because we ordered a suite and ended up with one of the smallest rooms they had. After complaining, we got a bottle of champagne and free transport to the airport. The... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
