I would recommend Metamorphis for its central location in Stare Mesto. It is easy to get there by way of public transport. From Prague Vaclav Havel Airport, you first have to take Bus No. 119 to go to Dejvicka, a metro line A station (bus ticket can be purchased at the Arrival Hall and it costs 32 kc per person;... More

The hotel is perfectly located about a minute or two from old town square. our room was beautiful, the hotel staff were helpful in arranging day trips, and the morning breakfast was solid. the one drawback is that the hotel is in a part of town where drunks can make a lot of noise late at night. of three nights... 4 of us booked the Metamorphis after reading reviews online. Upon arrival we were immediately impressed with the hotel and the service, very polite staff and very helpful. Myself and my wife were in room 43 which was on the top floor and was a stunning room with exposed oak beams and ample room with all the facilities you could... More

This was my sixth stay (if I recall correctly) in Hotel Metamorphis. Once again we did not have to be disappointed. The room (a suite in fact) was very spacious even for our three people party. I will stay in Metamorphis in the future too!

We were pleasantly surprised with the location of this property. Right in the heart of Old Town and walking distance to everything. Many cafes and restaurants to choose from. We also did the Beer Spa which the hotel offers and enjoyed the experience. The breakfast was included in our rate and was the perfect way to start our morning.

I had made reservations in advance for Metamorphis, not Metamorphis Excellent as the latter had lower ratings on tripadvisor. I arrived and they had my reservation (for 2 except one night when my daughter joined us) but I ended up in a 3 room suite with Metamorphis Excellent on the door. Before complaining I gave it a chance and I... More

Having read a lot of good reviews, not just here, I kind of expected more. Sure, the service was nice, and nothing was ever a problem when asked for, but the rooms that lay toward the outside of the square facing the church would have used some love. The windows were thin and uninsulated, so it didn't really matter whether... More

Large room with extra space for everything. The main square was a very short walk, like one block away. Breakfast was pretty normal - nothing outstanding. To get to our room, you had to cross the street, around the restaurant through a locked courtyard filled with cars, then up the tiniest elevator (one bag and one person). Front Desk was... More

It was difficult to find the Hotel according to the instruction. The roads are old small tiles like most old cities in Europe... More

Studying abroad and meeting up with friends in Prague- this hotel was perfect. The room was one of the best abroad, especially for the price. It could not be a more convenient location to everything, we could walk everywhere! The astronomical clock was a 5 minute walk. The breakfast spread was wonderful and had something for everyone (gluten/dairy-free, children, etc)... More
