We spent 3 days in botel with breakfast. Restaurant (tables and glasses) was dirty, we were waiting for bread 40 minutes in the morning (since 8:15 to 9:00 wasn't bread in the restaurant) and waiter was very inpolite when we complained. Accommodation is very simply and cheap but breakfast is zero. Cheapest toilet-paper and serviette, no heating during the day... More

Firstly I must say that staying on this Botel is an experience in itself ! Right on the Vitava river if you get a room with a a river view you will not be disappointed ! With ducks,Swans and other birds in abundance, wanting to be fed bread and the small boats of all description going slowly by is a pleasure... More

The rooms were small and outdated. It smelled like people smokend in there. The matrasses were really thin, we didn't sleep welk. And the walls are so thin, you van hear everything. We left earlier then planned

Just looking for a cheap place to stay before our flight the next morning so we didn't mind that the hotel was a bit old and run down and that the room was tiny. HOWEVER, the room (non smoking) smelt terrible! Like a mixture of smoke, smelly sea water and dust. The sheets had holes in them and to top... More

although it looks a bit weary on the outside, the inside is pretty cozy, the rooms are small and a bit dusty but overall they were okey, The restaurant and terrace are very nice, with a lovely view of the Danube the staff is very friendly, although a bit slow. We had a nice stay, great deal for a low... More

The botel is a bit outdated. We booked this hotel because all the hostels in Prague were fully booked because of Easter. The rooms are fine and so is the bathroom. We had free breakfast and there is enough parking space. Walking to the city centre is a bit far. By taxi it's like 15 minutes and costs 250 czk.... More

From travelling to Prague from Berlin. I booked this accommodation because it is quirky. The room is tight aka cozy. For the price you cannot complain. I originally booked it directly, but found it cheaper on another website (my tip). The staff we spoke with had good English. Breakfast is basic, but it is on the upper deck and the... More

Well, we visited Botel Racek in Prague despite the poor reviews and traveler experiences. I must admit, we were pleasantly surprised! We had heard that the reception staff were distant, unhelpful, rude & generally unapproachable! This is a total myth! We arrived on the Friday to find the lady at reception on the phone, she appeared harassed, however, when she... More

I booked this trip through go groupie. The offer was for 2 or three nights 3 star with breakfast and flights to Prague . When I phoned to book, the flight returning back would have landed back in the UK at 6am which would have lost a full night and the best part of a day so I asked to... More

5 stops to the city center by tram. Ducks swim in the morning to the window. The room's small the bathroom is very very small. Sleep is good, well heated. Breakfast is okay, but yellow and red water do not drink here.
