Besides the ideal location in Prague, (easy to walk or take a tram anywhere), the customer service was outstanding. I am in Prague for a meeting and thought would try Golden Well before moving to the Marriott for the conference. Man is it a night a day difference...with Golden Well coming out on top! I had one night in Prague on business this week and thanks to Tripadvisor found the Golden Well. Beautiful hotel packed with history and excellent location (five miutes to Charles Bridge, ten to Old Town Square and part of Prague Castle). Helpful, friendly staff. Exceptional location, secluded and hidden away at the end of a film set-like cobbled street. One felt very privileged to know about it. Very comfortable bedroom with all the right extras (fantastic sea salts in the bathroom!) and lovely views. A couple of recent reviews of this hotel read more like the work of an over-eager hotel p.r. person than that of a recent hotel guest but I have no quibble with any of the content. I stayed here for 3 nights in mid-September in a jr. suite on the 3rd floor with a tremendous view and thoroughly enjoyed it.... more
