Prague is a magical place to visit. The city is so beautiful it's hard to take it all in. The transportation is easy and our hotel was close to major stations so it was perfect. I would recommend using the Prague Airport Shuttle service to and from your hotel. The cost is the same as all other means but the... more

Stayed here for several days. Rooms were nice and clean. While not in the middle of Prague, the hotel is just 2 blocks from tram and metro stops. Purchase ride tickets from a tobacco shop or at a machine in the metro station. Mall close by if that's your thing. A nice pub with good food, beer and prices is... more

Ibis Praha Mala Strana is modern, clean and adequately furnished, however, space is limited. Staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. Security is advanced. You need your room card key to use the elevators. Its location in Marla Strana is far away from Old town where all the attractions are. However, if you like to shop and eat like the... more

The location was great for taking public transportation to the cultural sites. The city is easy to navigate, even if you don't speak the language. The staff of the hotel was helpful and was able to speak some English, which was very helpful as we struggled to grasp the Czech language. The hotel is down the street from a major... more

We stayed at the Ibis Smichov in April 2009, and everything went smoothly. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which after a confusing arrival by train was much appreciated. They made it clear to us to ask them questions if we needed anything, and helped us throughout our stay with transportation, restaurants, and logistics. The room is small, but... more

This hotel is a little out of the way from the main center of town, but is near a modern shopping center and grocery and the Andel stops for both the metro and the street car. Expect to take public transit every day you tour--it's too far to walk. The rooms were clean, and the staff were very friendly. The... more

Couldn't stand the thought of staying home for my 40th birthday and had been talking about Prague for over a year with friends. Sale came up on the internet several times and I finally booked it. Read and reread the traveller's reviews of this hotel. Was very pleased. Location was fabulous! A block and a half to a major tram... more

Good location, near a traffic hub with trams, buses and subway. Walking distance from the main attractions in Mala Strana and New Town and near a mall and many restaurants. Clean room, and altough the bathroom is small the acommodation was really fine. It's possible to have a late breakfast if you miss it (served until 10 a.m. and after... more

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in a twin room. Very modern looking and clean. Bathroom equipped with shower. The hotel is very well located. Close to the Andel tube station. Lot of trams serving various directions, so connection to the historical centre is perfect. From PRG airport it takes about 45 minutes to get to the hotel using... more

On this trip, our group stayed in hotels in Busapest, Vienna, Berlin, Munich, and Toronto. The Ibis Mala Strana in Prague was BY FAR the nicest, cleanest, and best located hotel out of all of them. There is a HUGE shopping mall right down the street (dont shop in Prague though! SO expensive!) and it's an easy walking distance to... more
