Visiting Praha for the second time, indepedently, I choose a hotel in the city center. Even if it was everything very good, I have to explain my grading. The room was hot, but we couldn't open the window because of the smell of the restaurants dowstairs. There was a ventilator, but the room air was not fresh, and the was... More

We used this good hotel as our base for a 5 night family holiday. My wife and I booked a double room whilst our two teenage children shared a twin. My wife and I were given an apartment which was excellent and worth 5 stars. The only reason why I have given the hotel 4 stars is that whilst we... More

Room here was fantastic, very spacious, comfortable beds. Our room was backed onto a little alley so was very quiet and the blockout curtains worked a treat! Woke up at 9am and thought it was still night time! Breakfast was great too, but the best part was location. So easy to get anywhere! The room didn't have aircon so it... More

We stayed here for 3 nights - temperatures were around 35 degrees. The only air conditioning was a small desk top fan. The bar fridge was warm, and when we enquired as to whether it need repairing we were told it is a mini-bar fridge and not meant to be cold. The breakfast was included and quite adequate. The coffee... More

My husband and I was on honeymoon and we checked into this hotel. It is on a great location in Wincesclas square and it was a small quaint hotel. However at a time when Europe was going through soaring temperatures and a heat wave of note they don't have air cons. The hotel was like a furnace. My husband sat... More

Very well located on Wencelas square ,access to department stores and within walking distance of the city's beautiful old town square. We found the receptionist very helpful booking boat cruses and taxis. As we had mentioned we were celebrating a birthday a bottle of bubbly awaited us. Nice!

I stayed in this hotel for 7 nights. The biggest pro is its central location. All quarters are in walking distance (trainstation is 5 minute walk, metrostation 2 minute walk). The bedroom and bathroom is clean and well-kept. Housekeeping comes by everyday and does a good job. The quality of breakfast is average, with sufficient choice. The biggest dislike for... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
