We really enjoyed the excelent location, as well as the nice, clean and comfortable room. But it should be mentioned that this room had no view, we could only see a wall, despite the fact that it was on the 4th floor. I would also like a more spacious reception room - a place to meet and have a drink... More

A clean room at a fair price (reduced price maybe because the view wasn't good). The breakfast, included, wasn't good. We asked for a doubled bed and they gave us two separate beds (you can put them together but would be nice if they would have done that for us). In the morning, when everybody in the floor was taking... More

The Hotel were aware that this trip was part of my wifes 50th birthday celebrations and our group 92 couples) were upgraded from normal doubles to apartments. Champers, glasses and a birthday greeting were in our room also. Apart from that, we found the hotel in a handy location (although the entrance is a bit strange (being via a shopping... More

The hotel is located near Wenceslas Square, near the train, the city center. Staff was really friendly Breakfast was good. The room was big, clean and really comfortable, the only issue was that it was to hot (went there in december)

Hotel Elysee is well priced and in a good location, very close to metro and tram stops and easy walking distance to the Old Town area. With the Metro stop only 5 mins walk from the hotel it made getting to and from the airport as easy as it could be. The desk staff were friendly and very helpful, all... More

Located in the heart of the city. Big rooms. We got our room on 5th floor. There are only one small elevator for guests and staff. Friendly receptionists. The room and shower were not properly kept and cleaned after previous guests ,may be because of Christmas? Breakfast is poor and tasteless. The hotel is definitely overrated.

We visited Prague to enjoy their Christmas Markets after Christmas. Could not have been better. Great location to explore the markets, the shopping and old town. Plus it snowed. Prague has many arcades with shop and restaurants within them. Down the arcade by the Palace Theatre is the entrance to the hotel. Due to people wandering in off the street... More

The location is very centrally located off Wenceslaus Square. The entrance to the hotel is challenging as it is in an interior corridor off the street. I arrived about 1pm and they were able to give me a room at that time, a nice plus. The rooms are basic, fine quality linens with duvet, and standard amenities and hardwood floors.... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
