Good location, decent breakfast, clean, but we forgot a coat in the closet, we called the next day and the staff was not able to find it???. A detail, the room has a safe but it is not included in the room rate you need to pay for the use of it. They do not have air conditioner

Hotel was clean and luxorius. Breakfast was good and fresh. Reception was friendly and helpful. Great location and safe hotel. Only negative thing was that we didn't have airconditioning in our rooms. We highly recommend this hotel. Thank you Elysee :)

Hotel Elysee is a really great hotel right in the heart of the city. It is located just up the street from Wencales Square and a short walk from Old Town. The staff speaks English and were super helpful. They also helped organize secure parking for our cars. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is pretty good and included.... More

Great location, right in Wencelsus Sqare. Close to the Train station. Staff extremely courteseous, helpful and professional. My only concern was the absence of air conditioning in the rooms as it was hot at times ( being July- summer).

Good location and nice large, clean room. I found the front desk staff to be efficient but not friendly or overly helpful. When booking the room through Booking.com the room advertised it had a safe and doesn't mention about paying extra charges for it. To be able to use the safe we had to pay $AU 25 for 4 nights.... The best thing I liked about the hotel was it's convenient location right on Wenceslas square surrounded by restaurants, shops & casinos & very close to the Metro. The hotel staff was nice enough & our apartment was pretty spacious & very quiet at night inspite of it's location. My only complaint was that the cleaning staff didn't do a... More

The staff here was very helpful for our large family group...15 folks in six rooms and all of comfortably accommodated. The breakfast was very nice and our rooms, great. We were lucky to be there during a cool spell and didn't miss AC at all.

Just returned from a 4 day vacation to Prague. First time ever, not sure what to expect and I was pleasently surprised. To start, we stayed at the Elysee Hotel in Wenceslas Sq in the center of Prague. The hotel entrance is oddly situated in a small shopping/ restaurant arcade. It is efficiently and friendly run, the staff couldn't do... More

Visitors who prefer to stay at the busiest boulevard of Prague, with its countless exchange offices, Czech restaurants, souvenir shops, sausage booths, gold and jewelry shops, casinos, Thai massage salons, and slowly moving streams of tourists, day and night, may consider the Elysee hotel. Located in the upper floors of a backhouse, it is reached via a busy passage. It... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
