A typical Soviet hotel in the heart of one of the most spectacular cities in the world. Dated rooms, interior, exterior. Everything is like from the mid 80's. I would rename it to the Grand Soviet Olshnka Hotel. Nevertheless, it is worth of experiencing this hotel once in a lifetime. I enjoyed it! more

Whilst a little away from the old town, this hotel has a tram stop directly outside it. The trams run very frequently, don't think I ever waited more than 5 minutes. Very cheap hotel in Prague 3 zone... Rooms are quite big and very clean. I stayed for a week and it was really a good choice. Neighborhood is not nice but the Zizkov is a popular zone. The hotel is well connected to the centre of the city. Good value for your money!!! more

For a reasonably priced base for the "Prague weekend" this place is ideal. It's big clean and most of the staff are friendly. We have read other reviews about this hotel and went with some apprehension. This was unfounded as we found the staff friendly & helpful. We had a room on the front with traffic noise and upon our request we were readily given a room at the back which was quiet and comfortable. We would rate this hotel as good value... more

Generally ok, rooms were very basic and quite old fashioned but can't complain too much as staying there didn't exactly break the bank! Only major complaint was that the staff were extremely rude, when at the bar, the staff would serve locals before us and then keep us waiting a little longer! more
