Great location, simple and clean place, delicious breakfast. I felt very comfortable. The neighborhood is a bit noisy (there is a night club next to the hostel). The staff is very helpful. If I return to Prague, I will stay here again for sure.

The hostel is really good for people travelling alone, clean and with helpful staff and tasty breakfast. The downside is I could not always connect to WiFi and there is only one computer to use in the reception area and the lockers in the rooms were quite small. Overall though, would definitely recommend it for a cheap weekend out.

Stayed there for a weekend. Rooms are nice, Bathrooms are OK. Breakfast was good. Travelled by car, so booked Car park extra (30 Euros for 3 days). Was not possible to first get the car parked and then unload. Had to check in (and pay in cash!! for the parking) first. So had to park second row on a busy... More

The location is great. Beds are comfy and rooms are quiet if you close the windows. Breakfast is decent (yogurt, cold cereal/granola, bread and jam etc). The bad news is the staff we interacted with are extremely unhelpful and slow. Checking in took far too long and check out was a mess. The man behind the counter was trying to... More

This hostel was over priced, the hallways and bathroom smelt awful and the wifi worked 25% of the time. We had a double private with shower and I always had to hold my breath the second I left the room it smelt so bad. No one uses the common area, not good for solo travelers.

The hostel isn't know as the title here, it is travellers hostel. It's basic and clean, my issues were with the distance to toilets and how warm it was. There are showers and sink in rooms but no toilet??? Location is great, near old town square and metro. Kitchen is basic and no common areas.

My first hostel experience, and it was a pleasant one! Rooms were basic (just bed, nightstand, and small closet), but it's everything you need for a short stay. Facilities were very clean, and breakfast was decent.. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The location was PERFECT! It was a few minutes walk to the town square and all the bars/clubs.

I stayed 2 nights in a 2 bed room on the second floor, I was alone in the room and even had a shower and sink. The toilet was a few meters away. I loved central location just some 300 m from the main old square. Also the metro is not far away, the shoping center Palladium, market, not to... More

Positives I would say are the breakfast (apart from the watered down juice), the really central location and the rooms which are fairly clean and comfortable. Secure lockers were good. Unfortunately with one exception the staff were quite rude, one guy just playing on his phone and making us wait for a while. Quite a few people staying in the... More

Basic hostel with plenty of showers on each floor. The staff in the bar were friendly. The breakfast was good and almost all you can eat with a wide selection of cereals, meats, cheese, breads..... The cleanliness wasn't great and would benefit from a spring clean. Over all average for a hostel. I have also stayed in there other hostel... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
