This hotel was he hub for our stag doo. The hotel was ideal for this as it had a bar and a pool table. The rooms are clean and of a reasonable standard. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was good value for money and 5 mins walk from the central square. Overall a very good experience!

Location couldn't be better! The Atlantic hotel is just a few blocks from the main touristic sites so it was really easy to move around the city. Prague's Municipal House is just around the corner and there are concerts every night at affordable prices, we enjoyed Vivaldi's Four Seasons by really talented musicians. Walking in Prague is the best way... More

That hotel has all the criteria of a 3 star hotel: good location, good service, 'free' wifi, nice rooms etc. The staff was also really friendly and helpful. The only two things that make me give it a 4/5 instead of a 5/5 is the fact that the shower water was often cold for a few minutes before it got... More

Booked the hotel as part of a British airways package deal. We arrived at 10.45 am and our room was ready for us, the room was very spacious and warm, was minus 2 outside, the bed was lovely and comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. The spoke excellent English and were extremely efficient, we left early in the... More

Stayed here to spend Christmas in Prague from 24 Dec - 28 Dec. Very good location, walking distance to famous tourist areas (Old Town, Wenceslas Square, Jewish quarter, Kampa, Charles Bridge etc). Good access to public transport. Nice, clean, big rooms with comfortable bed. I think it can be quite hot in the summer as no a/c. We had a... More

Large room, nicely decorated. Breakfast ok. Well located next to public transportation (subway less than 200 meters), shopping center (Palladium) and at a short walk from the main attractions, for example, the "Astronomical Clock". September 2014

Stayed here for one night. Arrived late afternoon and told at reception that as hotel was full we were being given a bigger room. The staff at reception were fabulous and remembered that friends had asked about us earlier and later when saw both parties together commented that we'd caught up. Room was big, separate bedroom, bathroom and kind of... More

Stayed here for three nights last week. Two minutes from palladium shopping mall and about five minutes from old town Christmas markets . Nice staff very helpful with helping us with sightseeing as first time in Prague. The breakfast was good, with lots of variety really enjoyed staying here, sadly not long enough ,but would definitely consider coming again.

Nice 3 night stay at Atlantic to visit Christmas markets. Hotel room (3rd floor to rear) no view but quite big and very quiet. Good breakfast with a sometimes strange combination but quite acceptable. Within easy walking distance of the main markets and attractions. Tram stop close to hotel for visiting the castle, Charles Bridge etc. Reception staff really friendly,... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
