4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Stayed 3 nights . Staff very helpful and friendly . Rooms are basic but the location and value makes up for that. Only real complaint is that the room had no fridge which would have been great as temperatures soared to mid 30's. And rooms can be a little noisy with major tram lines just outside.

We stayed three nights at this three star hotel in late May, 2015. Our twin room was large, very clean and the bathroom was also spacious. Breakfast offered variety, some of it unexpected. Reception staff were very helpful, especially when we wanted to go by train from Prague to Krakow. They also provided free maps of the city. The location... More

The Atlantic is a 3 star hotel in one of the best locations in Prague, for the price I don't think it can be beaten. The rooms are clean and spacious, the staff helpful offering maps and guidance to any part of the city and any assistance you could need. The breakfast is varied to say the least, never seen... Atlantic is a simple hotel, with the basic service, nothing special to note. My single room was not so big but everything was clean. I didn't like too much of the breakfast, it was not much continental, the bread was not so good and there was no fresh fruit. However, from here you can get everywhere in a walking distance,... First the good things: the location for the Old Town is excellent, the station is ten minutes walk away, the staff desk staff are efficient (though don't look for any level of personal relationship), breakfast is OK with plenty of choice, our room and bathroom were large and the room comfortable, the hotel is clean and well kept. There were... More

Very central and noise isolated BUT the huge build going on in the back woke us up all weekend at 7.00 ,and not a word thereof from the hotel. The water in the shower and taps stank a bit like stale rotten water. The turndown service was very mediocre,no clean glasses and no refilling of the toilet paper or towels.... More

The hotel is located in a busy part Of town and close to some good restaurants and bars. Our trippelroom was spacious for 3 people however..on a 3 nights visit I Recall The towels being changed once..hence being put on The floor! The toothbrush glasses were never changed or washed and we had to run down to The main floor... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
