The location and staff are good, however, if it gets hot there is no air conditioning and if you do open your windows you will be kept awake by the tram stop outside. Breakfast is fairly average and the WiFi signal was not very strong in my room.

Last year I stayed here in June. I stayed again for a couple days on my way to Vienna. I was not impressed It was 95 F and hotel has no air. I get some older buildings in Europe don't so I asked for a fan cause Room was like an oven. So hot it was uncomfortable to sleep or... More

We were welcomed warmly by staff when we arrived at the Hotel Atlantic. The hotel arranged a driver for us as a connection from the airport to the hotel. The rooms were lovely, simple but effective & very clean. The breakfast included at the hotel was fresh and of a surprisingly high standard. The only downside was the water being... More

This hotel was just fine for us. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, the bar nice. You can't beat the location, and the staff were among the nicest I have encountered anywhere. They really seemed to want us to have a great time in their city, and their recommendations and directions to places were spot on. All spoke English... More

We stayed 3 nights on part of a BA package. The hotel is brilliantly situated for all the sightseeing attractions. It is old and dated but everything is very clean. The room we had was small but adequate but looked over the back and had an awful outlook over a roof (we were on the 4th floor). It was quite... More

Hotel is located close to the old town square and Namesti Republiky metro so easy access to all the sights. Room was clean, however being at the end of the corridor meant it was just out of range of the hotel's free WiFi service which was annoying. Breakfast was good and varied (including random dinner dishes such as soup, spaghetti... More

Value for money hotel, away from all the noice but in a key position to reach all the major sights, near the Palladium shopping centre and near Namesti Republiki station from where you can go anywhere, either by foot or by public transport. If you walk towards the river you first go thru the old main shopping street and you... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
