We booked 2 nights here the end of October, based on TA views. I am glad we choose this hotel in this neighborhood. The moment we walked in Sasha was was perfect, offered us a drink while we waited to be shown to our room. We were upgraded to a Jr Suite, and it was lovely. We just left a... More

My wife and I had a lovely stay during our honeymoon. The hotel is simply gorgeous. We felt like we were staying in a 19th century manor. The staff were top-notch, speaking excellent English. The first thing they did when we arrived was offer us a glass of champagne, which we greatly appreciated after traveling all day. Breakfast had a... More

We got a HUGE room in the adjacent building, windows all over, huge closet. Ya we paid for it, but wow, it was worth it. The staff was fantastic. The breakfasts were beautiful. THANKS TRIP ADVISOR, your advice paid off, Prague was ridiculously stupid fun.

We arrived late on a Monday night for a midweek break in Prague. From the moment we arrived the staff did everything possible (without being asked) to make our stay enjoyable. The night receptionist got us a glass of wine while we filled in the ubiquitous check in form and offered advice on a restaurant or bar if we required... More

I had only one night at the Alchymist Nosticova Palace, before venturing on to Italy. I chose this hotel, based on TripAdvisor reviews. They are all accurate. We stayed at the Alchymist Palace in August 2014 for our wedding anniversary and had a wonderful stay. Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
