We stayed at the small hotel with the courtyard for 3 nights (original booked 2 and added another night). We were two couples; each in a suite. The rooms are spacious, decorated with beautiful furniture and drapes, bed and amenities were perfect. Breakfast was included; excellent. Not just pastries... included eggs, bacon, fresh yoghurt, fruit, croissants, etc. Excellent coffee too!... More

We stayed 8 nights in fabulous Prague at this hotel. We stayed in the garden suite. I have never stayed in a more beautiful room. Our overall trip to Prague was stupendous and this room and hotel generally was one of the real highlights. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly. Sasha was a great help both before... More

A four poster bed,, a large room, a quiet location with a private garden. It's hard to get nicer. The rooms were large, wonderfully decorated and captured a sense of romance and charm. The location is slightly set off from the wall to wall tourists on Charles Bridge and Old Town but within close walking distance of all the attractions.... More

Travel with my family and stay at the Alchymist Nosticova. Perfect experience, nice rooms, very good breakfast, but above all, very nice service from all the staff which make you feel special. Hotel is perfectly located in a quiet place, but still close to all the action in Prague.

We enjoyed our six night stay at this hotel. The good...... 1.Can't get a better location. It is within walking distance of everything, but also in a quite area. 2.Every staff member we encountered was wonderful. I will mention Sasha, Mark, and the tall blonde lady(sorry I forgot her name) who worked at the front desk, but each staff member... More

Warm, Bohemian atmosphere with charming, nicely appointed rooms of antiques and Czech crystal chandeliers! The location in the Little Quarter of Prague was ideal to both historic areas on either side of the Charles Bridge. There was wine and appetizers each afternoon. The breakfasts were wonderful and provided a variety of plentiful choices. The staff was welcoming and kindly upgraded... More

We just came back from a 4 day 3 night stay in Prague at the Alchymist Nosticova Palace. I can only agree with all other positive reviews this hotel have received. We stayed in a Junior Suite, the Mozart suite on the second floor. The room and bathroom was spacious and the sleeping quality was excellent, very quiet and even... More

After flying in from another location in Europe I was greeted at the airport by the hotel's driver who met me right outside of baggage claim. (This free transfer is part of your room stay at this delightful boutique hotel.) Upon arriving at the property, I was warmly greeted by the staff and given a glass of sparkling wine before... More

We were picked up from the main railway station by a very friendly man from the hotel (a great start of a great stay). The staff were all very friendly with a smile and very good restaurant tips! Very nice junior suite. The hotel actually makes the impression of not being a typical hotel, but a cosy place to stay.... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
