This was an adorable hotel in the middle of Prague. It was pretty basic, but clean and comfortable. We were on the top floor, and our window was more like a sky light. There was a small lobby bar and a nice breakfast buffet - although using the coffee machine to make coffee with milk resulted in a couple of... More

My family and I recently stayed here and overall found the experience lovely! Short walk to the city centre and easy transportation to the outskirts. The restaurants nearby are affordable and amazing food. Highly recommended!

The hotel is in a very good location, where me and my partner walked to the popular tourist location, the old town. There are lots of restaurants and bars around the area to enjoy also. The rooms had everything you need, some would say basic but when on a city break, you are hardly in your room. The only issue... More

We visited Hotel Praga 1 for three nights. It is a really beautiful hotel that is located in an excellent area near the center of Prague. You can easily visit the Old Town Square and the main shopping streets. We explored the entire city on foot so we did not have to use the public transport. Also the beds were... More

Spent 4 nights great location quiet rooms, great comfortable beds. Breakfast fine but staff were very good friendly and helpful. Rooms large clean and functional. Hotel front rooms not noisy at all despite being on a main road Staff were helpful friendly and informative, nothing too much trouble. About 8 minute walk to Wenceslas square. Definetely would stay again -... More

The hotel location was great- near the metro and trams. The hotel rooms were large but not very appealing. The beds were very good. The bathroom was OK - the shower stand was small and I couldn't turn around in it without shutting off the water. The rooms were quiet including from the street noises. Breakfast was simple and functional... More

Hotel Praga 1 meet our needs fantastically with a comfortable bed, a quiet room (even though we where facing the street and a nice simple breakfast every day. At roughly 10-15 minutes walking from the main tourists sights the location is ideal. The only negative we had was that the room was very hot, even with the radiators turned off.... More

We could not fault anything, the bedrooms were very clean and a very good size, although the showers are a bit small, the water was always hot, the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was a little limited, but with enough choice to suit most people and plenty of it. The staff were very helpful, their knowledge so useful. The classical concert... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
