We were originally booked in to stay at the Galileo, another hotel in this group. Upon arrival we were told that since we had paid in advance (expedia) and we were staying for a 'long time' (5 nights) we could be moved to a more central location and have the 'best room'. I'm assuming it's more likely because the hotel... More

Went away on a holiday with friends and needed a low cost but nice place to stay for a few days. We had the apartment with 4 beds (although it wasn't actually 4 beds like the booking said, 2 singles and a double, but it was OK). Really friendly staff, very accommodating and helpful and of course a great location.... More

Unfortunately, the hotel Praga 1 was overbooked. So they moved us to their sister hotel Ceasar. The hotel was very good. Just small things to improve. I.e. the breakfast was very good. But when you stay longer, I would have wished to have once another joghurt flavour, or different cheese. But as I said. The quality is very good.

Lovely hotel in great location. Staff are really helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious. Would definitely stay there again. Short walk to centre and old town. We walked the whole of prague which is beautiful. The hotel has a lovely breakfast room with good choice of continental and fruits. Unforgettable stay.

Second visit, with my brother to this lovely hotel, this time staying for 7 nights. Were given a large room with balcony, with views of church nearby and the castle and Petrin tower in the distance – the tower looked really good in the evenings. The room was large, clean with comfortable beds and clean bathroom. Breakfast, as previously was... More

We stayed at Hotel Praga 1 for 3 nights. The room was spacious and comfortable, Room had all the basic amenities without the fluff ...however the bedroom slippers were a nice touch! This hotel is wonderful. Rooms a good size, breakfast is yummy with a good choice of food. It's not far from republics square or old town square even walking. Little market shops nearby. The staff are friendly and gave us maps and tour guides as we checked in.

Stayed 4 nights. We booked a double room and got a suite. King sized bed in one room, two singles and table plus chairs in the other. Comfortable beds, room very clean. Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
