Having seen some reviews for this hotel as not great, we were a little apprehensive about our birthday stay in prague, however upon arrival was more than surprised. The hotel is a short wall from the metro station, and only a few minutes walk to charles bridge. The location of this hotel is perfect, especially as I love walking, but... More

A great hotel just off the charles bridge.. Location was fantastic. Rooms were really nice. Sure we were upgraded as we got a lot more to than we paid for. Breakfasts was plentyful staff were really friendly. Money was at a high exchange rate so there was need to go elsewhere. Would reccomend this hotel. Breakfast is in the cellar... More

The accommodations were fairly average, but the location and price were outstanding. There was nothing over the top, it was clean and comfortable. A good breakfast is included. Biggest down fall was the lack of hot water in the room. It is walking distance to most of the attractions. The staff is friendly and everyone speaks English. They were very... More

The hotel is situated in a secluded backstreet near the Malostranka metro station. It is also conveniently close to the Charles Bridge (5-10 minute walk) and the castle district is nearby. The old town (across the Charles Bridge) is only a 15-20 minute walk away. The hotel has everything that we needed (breakfast included, nice bathroom, large shower cubicle, tea... More

I stayed here for four nights with two friends. Upon booking we were given a free upgrade from a triple to a deluxe triple, this turned out to be a spacious flat in the next building, which was awesome! The hotel is in a great location, right near the Charles bridge, Prague castle and near some great restaurants too All... More

This was a perfect place to stay for four nights. Close to Charles Bridge, close to the castle and to the tram. Nice surroundings, and the staff was great - helped us with everything. Breakfast every morning in a beautiful room, with classic music in the background, good food and champagne every day! The rooms are nice, and the beds... More

We chose this hotel due to it's character and medieval style. It's location is amazing - in the castle district - the castle itself is a 5 minute walk away, Charles Bridge 10 minutes away and once you cross over Charles Bridge the Old and New Town and Jewish area is all easily walking distance! Lots of lovely restaurants to... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
