We spent two nights at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They put us in one of their bigger rooms just around the corner. Well, it was more like an apartment than just a room. We had such a gread time there. The apartment was a bit cold, but I did not mind much. The reception was... More

Very nice breakfast. Excellent location. Staff was very helpful. Just avoid to use hotel's offered transportation from airport. They charge 25 euros (650 Czech crowns) while normal taxi service charges less than half 300 Czech crowns.

Dear Sirs, thank you for your nice rating and review, we appreciate your feedback very much. However, I would like to explain the reason behind the rates. As you probably know Prague has an longterm issue with dishonest, overcharging taxi drivers. Today you pay 300 and the next 1000. I have actualy seen bills for as much as 3000 CZK.... More

We stayed for 4 nights in mid January and it was our first trip to Prague. The hotel is in an ideal location to explore the city, only 10 minutes leisurely stroll to the Charles Bridge. It is located in a quiet cobbled square which meant no traffic noise. The reception staff were all very friendly and welcoming and luckily... More

Arrived to find we had been upgraded to a suite away from the main hotel. Excellent choice of breakfast although the cooked items were always a bit on the cold side. Plenty of choice and very clean and tidy. This hotel is an excellent location for visiting all the historic sites, only a 5 minute walk to Charles Bridge. First... More

Found the hotel beautiful and a good base for exploring Prague. Really enjoyed staying away from the main tourist area and closer to the castle. Also means the restaurants close by are more modestly priced than in the city centre. Interior details added to the experience

We stayed for Christmas (3 nights in total). I was expecting a lot more, the room we've got didn't look as the one in the pictures. The bathroom was nice and looked modern. The bed wasn't a good one and the room didn't look old but rather bad. breakfast is good. Staff is ok. I recommend it but is not... More

We stayed in the hotel during our summer visit to the Czech Republic and we found just what we were looking for. It's a number one location if you wanna stay close to the centre of Prague (2 minutes walk to the charming Charles bridge) and also the price is amazing (I paid £200 for three night). I like they... As a single business traveller I took 1 standard room during November week. The amenities were appropriate. I was acommodated on first floor next to patio. Price (during week around 36 € per night) / comfort was very good. The night was calm. However I could not imagine being accommodated there during summer. In the patio there are outdoor tables... I was completely delighted by this hotel. It had a magic feeling and great atmosphere to it. The buildings are very old and has a stunning architecture and antique very solid furniture to match it. I stayed with a friend and we where both very satisfied. The staff who spoken good english were very accommodating and helped us with all... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
