Having just returned from a four night stay along with my husband and father, we have had a wonderful stay at this hotel. If you are looking for a hotel full of character and in a great location this is the place for you. The view we had from our apartment - yes an apartment room, was amazing - Prague... More

My wife and I stayed for three nights. We cannot fault the Hotel or the helpful staff plus the facilities offered for the price we paid. .If you could not find anything on offer for the breakfast then you must be a very fussy eater. This was our first visit to Prague and we found the Waldstein delightful..Exchanging money was... More

It's is not really a hotel but more of an apartment thing, the rooms are scattered in a block. Our room was huge and bu the double bed was made out of two single beds which made it difficult to sleep. The breakfast buffet is not good enough, very limited choices. However, the staff are friendly and the location is... More

We stayed for four nights with another couple and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this old hotel with quaint old furniture. The hotel is located within ten minutes of Charles Bridge and Old Town and the Castle area is a pleasant 30 minute uphill walk. The staff were very helpful and there seemed to be a different person on Reception at each... Just had a great stay at the Waldstein. Forget your bland one-size-fits-all international hotel. At the Waldstein, you don't have to look out the window to see which country you are in. It oozed essence of Czech Republic. We had a Deluxe room which was massive, I would have called it a suite. OK, there were things you could pick up... More

Just returned from Prague, 3 nights at the Waldstein, perfect location for getting around. Have visited the city 4 times, this time as a tourist. Very central in Lesser Town, 10 mins walk across Charles Bridge to Old Town square. Easy to grab a 22 tram around the corner to get up to Castle. Many great pubs about enjoyed the... More

A party of 10 of us stayed here to visit the Christmas Markets. We were really pleased with the rooms, comfort, breakfasts and the welcoming and helpful staff. We lived in Prague during the Velvet Revolution and visit regularly and can honestly say that in terms of location and the things already mentioned this hotel is excellent - our Czech... More

This hotel is in a perfect location with a gorgeous view of the castle and in close proximity to Charles Bridge. The staff are all very friendly and helpful - particularly the breakfast staff. The room was fairly basic as was the breakfast, but they were both adequate, and compared to other hotels were excellent value for money! Just be... More

We booked a 4 day weekend in Prague in November and ended up staying at this hotel. We paid the extra £40 for a deluxe room and were surprised that we had an enormous room, a second bedroom with two more beds in it, a kitchenette and a large shower room. The staff were extremely friendly, the room was cleaned... More

We arrived at this hotel as part of inclusive package. It was advertised as a 4 star hotel. We were given a room in an annexe. It smelt so stale tobacco. Was bare, featureless, no beams, basic Down market room. Outside the unlit courtyard had no lighting, but a few dustbins. We were told We might be able to have... More
