Very nice hotel in a romantic style in the historic center below Prague Castle. Excellent access to all the most famous sights in the area and to famous restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised at the rich breakfast, which included homemade cakes, buffet with hot dishes, fresh fruits and vegetables and high-quality Czech sausages and cheese. Our room was very cozy... More

Room was fine, not too big not too small, queen size bed, bath and hair dryer, lamps, mirror, old tv still didn't even turn it on, wifi quite slow, breakfast great a lot of options, baggage keeper, you can pay in foreign currency but hard change; Elevator stops between floors so be prepared, not a problem for us, elevator is... My stay in hotel William was one big pleasure. It was actually my first visit of Prague and I could not have chosen a better place to stay in. The hotel is not really big but cozy. Everything was clean, the breakfast was delicious. The reception was very nice, helpfull and allways kept smiling. Really overwhelming athmosphere. I am certain... More

Key position for this very nice hotel. Just 5 minutes walking from Karl Bridge. I really cannot complain about the room and the services: everything was very clean and wifi connection was working in a proper way. The staff helped us a lot, always in a smiling way (that's what I appreciated most!). Plus glorius breakfasts. 5/5 without any effort.... More

The location was great, with the tram stopping outside the hotel and within 5 minutes outside the metro station. There was no view from the room, but we really didn't care as we go to the room only for night sleep. The room had enough space and light, though we would like it a bit cleaner, especially the bathroom. There... More

Really liked this hotel. It was a God send after having to move from a real bad one. Breakfast was fresh and there was plenty of it. Staff were pleasant. I wouldn't recommend to wheelchair users as there is a crazy amount of stairs. There's about 15 up to the front desk, another 15 up to the lift. The lift... More

I stayed at this hotel for only 1 night and I chose it for it's central location and value. I was pleasantly surprised by helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. Rooms were really clean and had fast internet. I really enjoyed their unique fairy-tale looking breakfast room and nice selection of the food. I would stay in this hotel again.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
