Hotel William is located in centre of Prague. Great location because it is close to Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, National Theatre and others attractions. Staff is very friendly and polite. Rooms are small, but clean. Great breakfast with wide choice of fresh food. So good value for money.

My stay at this hotel was 5 days. Thank you for being such a nice to us. Especialy that stuff at reception. My boyfriend is a vegan and that was no problem for us to consume our meal. Thank you so much and if anybody ask me about your hotel, its one large yes for us.

The hotel interior is styled in the early 20 century style. The hotel pluses are: quite location in the walking distance of the Charles Bridge, Prazsky hrad and other sight-seeings; good breakfast (it smelled deliciously in the hotel corridors in the morning); WiFi and nice staff. The hotel map, they give to the visitors, was a pleasant surprise. It had... More

This small hotel is a short stroll from Charles Bridge and on the tram route to the Castle. In fact a leisurely walk across Charles Bridge will bring you into the heart of Prague! So location is perfect. There are a couple of good local restaurants nearby frequented at lunchtime by office workers from the area! Good local food at... More

Visited Prague in November for a long weekend with friends to do a beer tasting trip. The Hotel William was clean and tidy, the rooms were basic but well presented. Breakfast was a selection of cold cuts, cheese, fruit and breads but was very tasty and plentiful. Transport links were great and Charles Bridge is 8 minutes walk. An excellent... More

Small rooms though clean. Noisy rooms, we stayed on the fourth floor, tram sound present all night long. Simple and small breakfast. Karlsbridge lyes just 5min walk from the hotel. Perfect if you want to spend your vacation really near the bridge.

Arriving at the hotel at noon they didn,t give us a room. The staff was very cold, not helpful at all. The elevator, small, stops in the middle of the floors, so you have to go up or downstairs to get to the rooms. The rooms were very average, not so clean and old. The heat was too much. The... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
