Stayed for 3 nights at £96 all in. About 5 miles from the town centre but tram and Metro fast and reliable, so no probs with the distance. Rooms large but in need of some TLC. The hotel seems to be a leftover from the old Iron Curtain days. The rooms are small, and well past their best: the place is more reminiscent of a hostel than a hotel. I visited Prague for the first time in mid August. Weather was 26C and 14 by night, but it was great for walking. Overall the hotel was OK for the money we gave. Pros: nice location (5 minutes from metro station, tram takes 15 minutes to center), rather comfortable rooms with normal soundproofness (the only problem is absense of airconditioning), the selection of buffet for breakfast is wide, however constant (it's ok if you are staying a week), free wifi in the lobby, the overall value for price is good.
