Superb, we had a suite!. I secretly checked what I'd booked it was way better and I thought I'd over spent but no it was great value. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful especially Patrick on the door. The restaurant on the roof top is rightly celebrated the food was spectacular and the views rightly placed in the top... We did not stay at the hotel but ate at the outdoor cafe... Surprised? It was great food and drink right in the Old Town Square with great views of the buildings and a great place to people watch. I was great fully surprise of the goodness. The price I thought was fair too.

Had a lovely stay at Hotel U Prince. The location simply can't be beaten, location right across the way from the Astronomical Clock. Good food provided in restaurant. Breakfast was good and overall I couldn't really find a fault.

It was so wonderful and a pure joy to return to the famous U Prince Hotel. My last visit there was with the girls. We were looking at the Astronomical Clock When there was lots of camera clicks and oohs and ahs. It was Mr. Bill Clinton himself with 11 security men. Got some great photographs a special rare moment... More

All visitors to Prague must stop by and have an afternoon beer or cocktail here, just to see the fabulous view of Old Town Square. The drinks are good, and not too over-priced. Service is slow, but who cares? The location is unbeatable and the atmosphere is lovely.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
