The bed wasnt all that comfy but that is my only complaint. The breakfast was good, room was very clean and spacious. Bathroom size was average or even big for europe. price is good starting in the low season which starts jan 4, dont know when it ends. the restaurant next to the hotel is great too

Fairly cheap hotel if a bit out of the way location wise. Very 70's decor and bizarre set up for the lift which only stops between floors so you either have to go up or down a flight to access (also cannot access from ground floor and need to bring luggage upstairs to reception so bear in mind if you... Excellent accommodation. The room was clean and spacious enough with a firm bed. A refrigerator is available. The shower room/wc was very clean. TV – yes, but limited viewing if you want an English channel. Hair dryer is supplied. What is NOT supplied however is a kettle! Hence there no tea/coffee making facilities in your room. You can hire a... More

Stayed here from Thursday night through Monday morning and I don't have a single complaint about my stay. The hotel is very inexpensive, especially given it's location and cleanliness. It is about a one minute walk from the Novoměstská radnice (New Town Hall) which is definitely worth checking out as admission is only 50kc and once you climb up the... More

Stayed 2 nights at this hotel in August. The staff were very friendly and provided us with a map of the city and recommended different places to visit. The hotel itself is very well situated for all of the sights and were able to walk everywhere from the hotel. Although the hotel was well situated, it could do with a... More

The hotel is very well situated, within walking distance to the main attractions of Old Prague. Close to the Metro station and very near a few lines of the Tram. The staff is Ok, but not going out of their way to help guests. The room price was very fair for the season, but as you can read on -... More

We paid 65 E for double room which is not exactly very cheap, compared to other buget hotels in big cities... but it seems to me that Prague becomes more and more expensive. Room was spacious but dirty curtains and decorative blankets and pillows certainly spoil the impression. Bedding was clean but I did not like what they put on... More

We had 3 nights at this hotel in March and were so pleased we chose it.Whilst not high end luxury, It was a great place for the price - clean and quiet, with spacious rooms and even a fridge. Breakfast was more than adequate, with cereals, yogurts, eggs, cheese, rolls, and fruit. The staff were friendly and helpful and gave... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in November and was really pleased. It was close to the old town square everything was within walking distance. Room was large and clean and the warmth in the hotel was really welcome after coming in from the really cold weather. I would recommend this to any of my family and friends who are thinking... More

We have nothing bad to say about the Hotel, and Irena helped make our stay in Prague memorable. I wish I could have stayed longer. I truly loved how close the hotel was to the Old Town Square. We walked - and I'm not very athletic - and it was very reasonable. The breakfast is amazing. I hope you enjoy... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
