Literally a stones throw from the Charles Bridge, you couldn't be better located in the city. The rooms are perfect, very spacious and if you choose to upgrade to a room with a view over the river you won't be disappointed. All staff were very friendly whether on reception or in the hotel restaurant, nothing was too much trouble. Be... More

I highly recommend this hotel. Located across the Charles Bridge on Kampa Park it was perfect for getting to all of the sights. Breakfast was good. The room was large. Staff was helpful. The only issue was that the staff left the window open, and there were tiny bugs the first night.

Really fantastic hotel. So close to the river you can walk 10m from the back of the hotel and it's there. It sits on the riverbank practically under the Charles bridge, and yet you hear very little noise from the city. The front of the hotel is a quiet little street, that sees little traffic. Great access to the town... More

This is a very nice hotel just steps from the old bridge and yet on a very quiet and pleasant square. Rooms are simple, but clean and comfortable. There's only one road to get there (from the north, crossing under the Charles bridge), and the instructions from the reception weren't all that clear.

Location couldn't of been better right next to the Charles bridge yet on the right side of the bridge to be quiet. Room quality was exceptional and service was great. Prague is a beautiful city in itself. Only slight downside was breakfast not a huge selection. Overall though cracking hotel would highly highly recommend

Spent quite a time choosing the hotel in Prague as part of our 5-countries european tour by car, Archibald caught my attention with its unique location and cool pictures on their website. Needless to say, we were not disappointed. Arriving by car to the hotel was quite a quest, the street was marked 'pedestrian only' and there was some kind... More

Perfectly located hotel (Mala Strana), next to the Charles Bridge. Make sure you get a room with a view, that alone is worth staying at the place. Breakfast is a great experience, large buffet with a lot of specialities, too. The rooms are small, but clean, and service is very warm and welcoming. Definitely my first choice in Prague.

Room funtional with aircon, very quiet even though groundfloor. Very close to the city centre. Remarkable staff especially man at reception with very short black hair (Worked evening shift 08/08/2015). Super service. Restaurant had a new waitress (Julia) very nice girl with no experiance what so ever. She made a few mistakes but all was dealt with in a professional... More

The location couldn't be better. Just by the famous Charles Bridge on the edge of a "village square". Close to the river for pre or post prandial walks and a lovely park the setting couldn't be better. Easy access to the "old town" and plenty of superb restaurants nearby including a really lovely fish one. The hotel has it's own... More

A clean, comfortable hotel close to many major attractions. We could not believe that so close to the Charles Bridge you could find a location with almost a village ambience with the picturesque shops, taverns and food stalls right outside the door. The restaurant was good value and the breakfasts impressive. Professional and courteous service at all times. Would definitely... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
