First time in Prague and the location for strolling around the city for a weekend was perfect. Especially the service and the staff's willingness to help was top class. Nice bar / restaurant downstairs and really good breakfast included in the package.

We stayed at the Jewel hotel for eight nights during a business trip. It was very charming with excellent service, good location, great breakfast included (nice buffet AND extra menu options) and little touches like scented oils in the room, fruit infused water, and a little dessert treat every evening. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We had a... More

A super hotel, stayed for a family break for my mums birthday. We stayed in the sapphire and ruby rooms, both were fantastic, clean and had a lovely turn down service in the evenings. The breakfast is lovely, a great selection of cold continental options and hot options, cooked to order. The pancakes are amazing! The location is great, only... More

This was my first time in Prague and I wanted to stay in a smaller boutique hotel. I had been communicating by email with Tonci and he always responded in a timely manner. We had the Ruby room and I loved it! I'm a very experienced world traveller and was surprised by the wonderful and personal service. The beds and... More

We stayed here for five days during July in the Pearl Room. It was fabulous. It was our anniversary and the hotel left champagne in the room which was thoroughly enjoyed. It is very close to Wenceslas square but also the Old Town and Latin Quarter. We walked to everything in Prague from here. The breakfast was delicious with great... More

This is a fantastic place to stay. Very close to everything but you definitely feel like you are in Prague. Rooms are tiny but that isn't an issue since you won't be in the room a lot. Breakfast was good. Totally recommend for a cost effective nice place in the center of Prague.

The Design Jewel hotel is quirky and eclectic, but the personal attention and warmth of the staff made us feel like we were very special guests. We were in the Diamond room. It was large, had a king-bed, a sitting area with a sofa, coffee table, a hall entry way and a nice bathroom. The hotel was VERY clean and... More

We stayed at this charming small hotel in the center of Prague for 6 nights. The room was quite comfortable and every night they left us a little snack along with a card recounting a myth or legend of Prague. But it was the friendly, helpful staff that made us feel at home and made our stay in this lovely... More

We stayed at this fantastic hotel for 4 nights while we were in Prague. Our room was call sapphire and it was beautiful furnished with a wonderful bathroom. Each day a fresh water with either lemon or lime was furnished. At night there was a turndown and a little pastry was set out on the table. The room had a... More

Turning up at a hotel reception to check in, only to discover you've booked the wrong dates isn't the smartest way to start a holiday. But that's what I did; frustratingly making a reservation for dates in June when I'd intended to book for July. However, thanks to the wonderful member of staff at Hotel Jewel, Tonci, all was not... Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
