Lovely hotel with everything you need and nothing you don't need. Service is fantastic. Location in convenient. Within walking distance of most attractions. Safe neighbourhood. Breakfast that comes as a package is sumptuous. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

Perfect location as only a minute walk to old town square. Hotel is lovely and very cosy, the gentleman on reception made you feel very welcome. The breakfast was by far the best we have had all trip, with a Continental type buffet and a menu with hot food where we ordered two dishes per person with no trouble. This... More

We stayed at the Jewel Hotel for 4 nights in December and everything was perfect during our stay.Starting from the staff, breakfast, turn down service, Jewel Café Bar which I strongly recommend for dinner. It is a small hotel with only 11 rooms in total located right in the center, walking distance to all the major sights. Not to forget the great... More

Absolutely lovely staff who are extremely attentive, helpful and really professional - they made our stay here in Prague extra special. A very stylish and immaculate hotel - the rooms are each themed by a type of stone and are furnished accordingly. The beds are extremely comfortable and there is even a Pillow Menu for you to select your unique... More

I stayed here in April 2012. I wasn't able to make a review then but I still want to write a review to commend this hotel's excellent service! I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are pretty, bathrooms are clean (I liked their towel heaters) and service was excellent! What I loved most about my stay here is the way... More

We stayed at Design Hotel Jewel Prague at the end of July. The room was so comfortable, robes, slippers, beautiful bathroom, amazing bed, great linens, chocolates, bedtime stories, the flavored water, and A/C that worked perfectly, which we loved. The location was perfect! Close walk to everything! Each room is decorated based on the type of jewel its named after. Our... More

Yes, the title is a little silly - however, with all of the quirky things about Prague, this was the one delightful, perfect experience. Everything about this boutique hotel was done beautifully - and the people working there were earnest, helpful and welcoming. Like others, we had great service, a lot of help finding things, and a lovely treat of... More

This is exactly what it claims to be and in a very nice part of Prague. Short walk to most attractions other than the castle. Would recommend and the breakfast is worth the bit higher price. No elevator so be prepared for a workout to get to your room if you're on the 3rd floor.

I will start with the many positives: This hotel is beautiful! The rooms are gorgeous (although small) and the bathrooms are very nice. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The special extra touches were very nice (fruit water, deserts each night, etc.) The breakfast was wonderful and staff even packed us a breakfast when we had to leave early... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your review here on TripAdvisor since it means so much for us. We are very sad to hear your second night was not that enjoyable due to the noise from the bar. When I checked what happened there was a Christmas party going on that night and we did our best to keep the... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
