Thought we had arranged for a car service via email with hotel manager prior to arrival which was supposed to be 650 CZK. The manager informed me that a taxi would normally be with an unpleasant person and a high price, so I agreed to hotel's car service. We waited for awhile at airport and no one showed so we... More

the hotel is full of character and the staff were friendly and helpful. it is at the top of the hill in what we thought was a great location but could prove difficult for some people to get to as it is a tough walk from the city center. the breakfast was ok but didn't always seem completely fresh for... My parents always told me to never judge a book by its cover, this is an example of that. A stunning hotel in a beautiful location but nothing special beyond this. The hotel could use some TLC. The sink in the kitchenette leaked, bits falling off in the bathroom, window latch missing etc. They have a real problem with hot water... More

Dear Paul, I would like thank you that you took your time to give us open review on our services. I am very sorry that we were not able to fully satisfy your expectations. I am very happy to hear that you liked hotel itself, same as fabulouse location just on the edge of the Prague Castle. I am sorry... More

Upon arrival we were met with drinks and invited to sit while paperwork was completed. They had me at drinks! Beautiful antique restorations everywhere you looked. Attention to detail that I never expected in a small hotel outside the city center. Located on a small street halfway down the castle hill, you can easily walk up to the castle area... More

Both the hotel and the location score top marks. Within walking distance of pretty much the whole city, U Krale Karla combines character with modern conveniences. The rooms - presuming that ours was representative - are more than spacious, with sofa, chairs and table as well as comfortable beds and pillows. Lovely painted ceilings and stained glass windows look out... More

Situated near the Castle, this adorable small hotel with large rooms is a perfect starting point for walks in the historical centre. At walking distance of Novy Svet, Strahov monastery and of course the castle, it is a perfect place that breathes history. And despite the nearness of the royal road, it is always quiet and peaceful.

Mala Strana (the little quarter) has always been my favourite part of Praha, yet I have never stayed there (until now). I booked this hotel as it is in the middle of that long and somehow steep walk (beginning as Nerudova and ending up as Uvoz) on the way up to the beautiful Strahov-monastery. It goes without saying that the... More

We stayed here for a night whilst visiting Czech Republic. The hotel is an easy (uphill) walk from Charles Bridge and the old part of Prague. We were amazed by the fabulous room, huge and comfortable. Breakfast was fine, no problem finding a table in the lovely dining area. If you arrive for food when it is busy there is... More

This hotel is located with a 15 minute walk from Charles bridge. It sits under the Prague castle and is also on top of a hill. If you have mobility issues, you would probably need a taxi to get to the bridge or into the old town. The hotel has some old world charm and most of the rooms are... More
