This Hotel was rather quaint 'old' world. The room was clean and bed comfortable. Staff friendly It had a very lovely French feel to it. The location was good, close to the train station and POI. We ate in their restaurant one night and the food was scrumptious. The only thing that surprised us was the extra charge if you... More

Well, it is good for one or two night, when you are on a business trip, but I would not choose it for a long stay... Breakfast choice is not too wide, but the rooms are clean and big enough. Nice location, 2 minutes away from Wenceslav square

Small rooms. Old property and not maintained. Claiming to be 4 Star and asking guests to pay for use the safe box in the room. One of the receptionist was very rude. No tea coffee making facility or kettle in the room because of security issues. When we entered our floor and walked towards our room, it was pitch dark... More

Absolutely superb hotel in a brilliant location just around the corner from Wenceslas Square. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, unlike anything I'd stayed in before. The staff were always friendly and extremely helpful, especially at reception and in the restaurant. Our room was very clean and a generous size. Definately worth a visit!

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
