Food is fantastic in the evening, and service is first class. Room is warm, and our kids are super comfortable on their beds. Couldn't ask for more. Free parking outside, and good for access to shops, the old town centre, and Charles Bridge.

Really enjoyed our stay there just before Xmas - sparkling Xmas trees, crystal chandeliers, candles ....also had my parent's Golden wedding party there - food was divine, staff delightful & professional. Everybody had a great time. Short stroll from the main city attractions - will stay there again for sure. Many thanks!

Was a very good location, walking distance to old town and Prague Castle. Our room and communal areas all very clean. Friendly, helpful staff and the airport transfers made our trip relaxed. Had a really nice dinner in the restaurant on our first night and really enjoyed the food.

We really enjoyed our 3 day stay at The Esplanade. The hotel has old world charm - crystal chandeliers, ceramic heaters in the dining room and large marble fireplace in the cafe. Our room was spacious, the bathroom was large with heated floors and good quality toiletries. Wi fi was fast and free. The breakfasts featured a large selection of... More

Very nice hotel, comfortable, well located and with friendly staff. Great breakfast too. Really close to the train station, and a few steps from shops and nice cafes in Prague. The hotel looks quite classic which is reflected in the furniture and decoration of the rooms. There are no coffee or tea facilities in the rooms for guests, and that could... More

Everything was chargeable like locked in cupboard, Taxi etc. There should be a land line internet connection. Everybody don't have wi-fi enabled laptop. In mine case the same and I was helpless because of this. The length of the bed was not enough for me to sleep. Many more reasons are there for improvements.

We are staying from 5th of Dec to 7th of Dec at Esplanade Hotel. Allthough there are some small minuses like slightly outdated shower cabinet or hair dryer, we 've enjoyed our stay a lot. Stuff is friendly, breakfast is really variable and rooms are cosy with good classic solid wood furniture. We found prices for bohemian glass quite reasonable,... More

I stayed here with 2 friends in mid October. The hotel is near the station and a gnats nadger from Wenceslas square. Perfect for strolling down into the centre perusing the bars and the tourists en route. Prague is a beautiful city indeed and I can add nothing in my review to recommend the city more highly. Back to the... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
