A average good hotel. We stayed 3 nights in a room at the ground level and facing the street. Very quiet with windows closed and no problem to sleep. The room was very spacious, clean with very basic decoration. The bathroom was clean and had a good size also. Staff was nice. Good wifi. I expected a very good breakfast... More

From the outside, nothing spectacular. Once inside, Cloister Hotel is modern, extremely clean and comfortable. Very well located, minutes from the metro, river, market, bars and restaurants. Staff very nice and helpful. Wasn't able to connect to WiFi on the 3rd floor, but lobby has adjoining business center, and was more than inviting enough to relax and check through mail.

The office staff and very attentive and helpful. The rooms were a decent size and had great showers and beds and linens. Breakfast was quite good and the entire hotel was always spotless. A five minute walk to Charles Bridge. You will not go wrong staying here.

This hotel, although the decor of the rooms is a little basic, the rooms are large and functional, the staff are generally helpful and the freebies (water/beer in the mini-fridge in the room, tea/coffee/hot chocolate were very much appreciated. Only had one issue when I asked for more towels to be sent to my room when I went out for... More

I chose Cloister Inn after reading reviews here on Trip Advisor as it sounded interesting & quite close to the Charles Bridge area that I wanted to be in. The hotel was quaint & the staff very helpful, except for 1 guy who wasn't very but the others made up for him. The walk to the Charles Bridge was quite... More

Why we chose it: requiring a room with 3 single beds seriously narrowed down our choices and when you factor in cost requirements and location (we wanted to be near enough the centre) then everything about the Cloister was a perfect fit. Facilities/amenities: pretty basic but I don't know what else you could need. Breakfast filled you up with both... More

We stayed four nights at the Cloister Inn and thought they were getting everything right. Our room was spacious and clean, the breakfast buffet perfectly adequate, and staff at the reception desk eager to help. There were some nice touches, e.g. free tea and coffee in the reception lounge and umbrellas available in the event of rain. The hotel is... More

We were given a room, which faced a wall. Which you had to take 2 lifts to, a fair distance from each other. It took about 7 minutes to reach our room. My husband is disabled and found the long trek tiring. (They supposedly didn't have any other room) breakfast is rubbish. Stale rolls, a few slices of cheese &... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
