Great cost-benefit! The location is excellent. Since the centre is about 5 min walking, you can visit many touristic points without any transport, and there is a subway station nearby. Breakfast is very good. The accommodations are very comfortable and clean. Staff is awesome, everyone is friendly and helpful. There are computers with internet connection available close to the reception.

Having read the reviews on TripAdvisor I booked this hotel for a last minute getaway for my husbands birthday. We were not disappointed. One of the contributors advised booking a taxi via the hotel. I did this, the hotel emailed me back immediately telling me the price and asking for flight detaills if I wished to book. The driver was... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here over New Year and had a great time. The hotel is well situated and the service is excellent - unlike many of the restaurants visited in Prague! The staff were helpful, rooms clean and neat and the hotel is just a 5-10 minute walk from the main Old Town. It was also a nice... More

We booked this Prague hotel well in advance, having looked at the reviews of this and others on Trip Advisor. Absolutely no regrets in choosing the Cloister Inn on Konviktská - it is within easy walking distance from Charles Bridge, the Old Town and many of the the good cafés, restaurants and bars. They responded quickly and politely when I... More

Cloister Inn was our base for our trip to Prague last weekend. Its a good value place, in British terms you'd compare it to a Premier Inn I guess and its location is ideal, only a short stroll from the main town square and the Charles Bridge area. The room is clean and comfortable. There's a flat screen TV with... More

Great experience. Old town center is 5-10 minutes from the hotel. Konviktska street is quiet. Rooms are clean and spacious (even though, as i learned from the fire escape route info sheet, some rooms had only one room, we had two). Breakfast was great, even though a bit tedious fourth morning in a row. Our room had red walls and... More

We have stayed at the Cloister Inn in Prague twice now and would definitely recommend it as a great value for money hotel. It is in a great location for Prague Old Town and Charles Bridge. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The free hot drinks in the reception area are a... More

I stayed in November 2014 with my wife and our 3 years old daughter. Good position, in walking distance from the old town attractions. Friendly staff, supportive. Clean and spacious room. The hotel has a small private parking, which must be booked in advance, but very important for travelers that come with car (in Prague old city center it's not... More

From previous Trip Advisor reviews of this hotel I contacted them in advance to determine best transfer from Airport - they have their own driver whom at a reasonable cost was waiting to collect you at the Airport and swiftly take you directly you to the hotel. Likewise for our departure. Our rooms was located 1st floor above reception -... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
