Our experience at Cloisters could really not be bettered.People at the reception desk were both extremely pleasant and helpful. Our rooms were large and clean. The breakfast was more than adequate. The position of the hotel also good as one could easily walk to most of the places one would like to go on the first visit to Prague. We will certainly book at... Every member of staff did their best to ensure you enjoyed your stay. Whilst they didn't provide dinner, they had recommendations (some with discount from hotel booking), booked taxis, tram tickets, whatever you wanted - nothing was too much trouble. Free wifi in lobby and rooms. Located fairly centrally near Bethelem square in old Prague, within walking distance of Charles... More

In the center of Old Town, on a quiet street. Nice, big, spatious room and bathroom, cleaned every day. Helpful staff. Good breakfast buffet. Highly recommend it ! Note that if you arrive by car, you have to reserve a parking place before arrival, because their courtyard has limited parking spots.

The hotel is in my favourite part of Prague, in the centre of the old town and is about as central as you could hope for. We've stayed at the Cloister Inn twice now, and for good reason. The staff make it a very special hotel; without exception they are helpful, friendly and professional. The rooms are comfortable and clean,... More

To begin with, the service at this hotel is excellent. They organised a taxi pick-up for me since I was flying in late and recommended a restaurant down the road (with a discount chit!) for dinner that first evening. They also provide booking services for tours and restaurants. I asked them to book me a restaurant for one of the... More

We landed in Prague and initially I thought, "What have I done?!" ... but from the off this city couldn't do anything more for its tourists! We traveled to the hotel using Public Transport (which typically I despise, but wasn't actually that bad ... thanks to the Information Desk at the airport). The hotel doesn't look great when you walk... More

Great location. Excellent value. Very clean, comfortable and somehow the rooms seemed soundproof. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet had lots of choice. Free hot drinks in reception area were very welcoming.

We have just returned from a 3 day break and found this hotel to be excellent, my husband and I had a triple room so lots of space. I slept like a baby all three nights as the bed was very comfortable. We were at the front of the hotel and unlike other reviews did NOT find it noisy with... More

The hotel is everything we wanted - tasteful and cheerful decor, impeccably clean, quiet and warm with helpful staff. We went everywhere on foot and had a choice of very good restaurants nearby. The comfy lounge with free tea and coffee was a pleasant place to have a break after a long day out.

Great hotel located in the center of Prague. Near the main points of interest. You go to walk everywhere. In any case, in the immediate vicinity there is a tram stop. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Available at all times in the lobby, free tea, coffee, chocolate. Breakfast simple but good. Excellent value for money. I would definitely return and... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
