If you want a nice, quiet hotel fairly near to most of the "best" parts of Prague, then you could do a lot worse than the Cloister Inn. The staff are extremely helpful and patient and there's free coffee on tap 24 hrs a day (very good after a night on the tiles!). The room was big (the bathroom was...

We liked the Cloister Inn because its location was close to the center of Old Prague and the Charles Bridge. The breakfast was nothing to speak of but other than that it was clean and quiet and reasonable price. The staff was very helpful in helping us find restaurants and telling us how to get around in the city.

The hotel is very near to the city center and also lots of monuments like Charles Bridge, Tyn Church, Astronomical Clock etc. The room was really big with a comfortable bed, minibar, safe. Towels are changed daily and whole room cleaned perfectly every day. The staff was very helpful and friendly, they solved every problem we had in a couple...

Down side: room without a view, strict breakfast room hours, very average breakfast
All in all, a no frills hotel with a...

Stayed at the Cloister Inn for four nights. Friendly welcome at the reception, nice room, everything fine, actually (spacious bathroom). The location is really convenient if you want to explore the old town; it could be a bit closer to the metro, but still OK. The breakfast was OK, although nothing special (and the "orange juice" was a disgrace). Had...

My choice to stay at the Cloister Inn in April 2012 was based on my previous stays at this hotel several years ago.
