There was so much to like about the hotel - location, good sized room, cleanliness, attentive staff. Breakfast was basic but ample. But the mattresses were hard and lumpy. We suffered from backaches the whole time we were there (At our next hotels in Europe, the beds were fine and our backaches disappeared after a day or two). According to... More

This hotel is such a fab find!!! Having not visited this area of Europe before I spent weeks scouring various travel websites to find a hotel and stumbled across the Cloister Inn and after reading all the previous reviews and looking at the website went ahead with booking it, and am so pleased I did. The staff are so so... More

We always seek out these hidden gems-and this did not disappoint. Centrally located, one block from Bethlehem Chapel, and on the border of Old and New Town this hotel was fantastic. The hallways of rooms can be a little confusing with some stairs to move your cases around but no big deal. We had a room on the street side... More

Lovely hotel, excellent location, friendly staff who speak good English. Good self service breakfast which was continually replenished. Free tea and coffee, and very good, very reasonably priced sparkling wine, in the lobby!

We had a large comfortable room. Daily breakfast was included, which was plentiful and had variety to suit all tastes. The service from reception staff was a highlight of our stay. The hotel is in great location, down a quiet street, but just 5 minutes walk from the Charles Bridge, and 10 minutes to Wenceslas Square or the Old Town... More

A very conveniently situated hotel - only 5 mins walk from Charles Bridge. The hotel is very clean, nicely decorated, with very comfortable bedrooms. The breakfast was superb, with a great selection of food. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly, particularly Adam on reception desk.

Very central with easy access to all the main attractions and numerous excellent restaurants and bars, all within easy walking distance. Comfortable, clean rooms with everything you could need but best of all the friendly and very helpful staff, especially Adam.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
