We recently visited Prague for the first time, and stayed at the Cloister Inn Hotel. Very nice welcome, lovely bright room, warm enough and a tremendous powerful shower! The breakfast was basic but plentiful and for the price remarkable. The recommendations for bars and restaurants good, apart from one, and we were allowed to leave our luggage there on early... Booked a deal with BA holidays to Prague and this hotel was included. I must say what an awesome location, great friendly and accommodating staff with large comfortable rooms. The hotel is close to Charles Bridge and the area is ideal to explore and enjoy the many great restaurants. I can certainly recommend the Cloister Inn Hotel if you are... More

We had three nights at the Cloister Inn, arranged through the British Airways website. It is situated in the Old Town, a short walk from the Town Square, in a quiet side street. The rooms are basic, but very large. Ours was spotlessly clean, and the en-suite shower room was modern and quite large. The hotel was very quiet, both... More

This is the third time I have stayed in this hotel in 18 months. I love it. The staff are very friendly, rooms very clean, basic but nothing else needed. Breakfast excellent. Great location. Near to Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. I will definitely be back soon!

Stayed here for 3 nights as part of a package with British Airways. Like most have said its central but just far enough out of the centre to be a bit quieter. Rooms are clean although basic and give you what you need for a short break (small fridge TV etc.). free computers in lounge with Wi Fi and free... More

I booked this hotel for a weekend break with three friends and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The hotel is centrally situated in a quiet position, close to the Charles bridge and many shops, bars and restaurants. The staff were excellent, always helpful. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable, good strong showers. The buffet breakfast was... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
