Excellent location right near the center, and a very decent price. All in all I was quite happy with it, but we were also partying all of our days in Prague so I wasn't too concerned as long as it was clean and comfortable, which is was.

Quiet (if you don't have a room facing the main street), very good breakfast (great selection and tasty), nice and attentive service, clean room with the bathroom. Free wi-wfi at the reception (or you can pay for it on the other floors) Anywhere near, as well to good restaurants and city center. I recommend to stay even with kids

we have stayed there for two nights in July 2014. very nice staff, good breakfast, location is perfect! the only problem was the noise from outside. it is very loud place, especially during the night. trams, buses, cars and trains! you will hear it all there. otherwise the place would be perfect for the price they offer.

I booked in advance and for a double room which is tiny overlooking the train station next door I am paying ?55/night. However it is clean and they change our towels everyday. Although it is right next to the train station its not noisy cause the windows are double glazed. The noise comes from people staying here (banging/knocking on doors... More

We booked City Inn in Prague due to it's location, which admittedly, was ideal. Unfortunately the staff in this hotel were extremely rude and totally unhelpful. We booked this hotel as it was advertised a 3☆ hotel, but on arrival we discovered that it was actually a hostel, and the communal bathroom was right next to our room. The curtains... More

I would really recommend this hotel to people traveling with average budget and who want to explore Prague. It is very close to the Old Town Center. Room was really nice and comfortable bed. Breakfast was included and was good. Ladies at the front desk were very helpful.

We went here Summer 2010 and came back April 2014. Nothing had changed which is okay, because not much needed change. This is an overall okay budget hotel. Nothing fancy but nothing shabby either. Things work, service is okay, breakfast will get you up and runnign for the day. Positive remarks: Mattresses are really comfortable. The hotel is ideally located... More

This hotel is perfectly located - 10 minutes from the centre, less than 5 minutes from the railway station. Spacious, comfortable, clean rooms, good breakfast, english-speaking and helpful staff. I would mention one drawback - poor soundproof, you can hear everything going on in the hall and neighbour rooms. Don't hesitate - good price, service and location.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
