We chose this hotel because we wanted the perfect spot for our trip. It was actually more than we hoped for. Exactly on the Old Town Square, with the perfect view, well-sized room and bathroom, comfortable bed and good breakfast. (not a big variety, but more than sufficient). There are free coffee and tea-bags in the room, and they offered... More

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in early March and we were not disappointed. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready but the hotel were very happy to let us leave our luggage and the same happened when we left where the taxi was a long time after and again the bags were left very securely.... The hotel is simple, and doesn't have too many frills about it, but it doesn't matter as the rooms are comfortable, and despite being so close to the main square, really quiet. If you're there during the Christmas markets you can see it all happening in the main square which across a little grassy areas in front on the hotel.

My fiancé and I stayed here for three nights on a city break. We were very happy with all aspects of this hotel. It over looks the Old Town Square of Prague, with the Astronomical Clock right outside. The rooms are very spacious, we had two cupboards, desk, chair, mini fridge, and a double bed with free safe in one... More

We stayed here for one night, and in terms of being in the middle of the action, it is fantastic. Pros: FANTASTIC location Very quiet rooms despite the busy location, couldn't hear a thing outside Large rooms/comfy bed Beautiful ceiling in room 204 Modest breakfast Clean Cons: A good 10min walk from the nearest metro stop, so you probably need... We stayed last week at the Lippert Hotel on our return from Vienna and I have to say that I was so pleased that we did. Having looked at other Hotels in the Old Town taking all things into account we decided that this would be the right one for us and it was. Everything about this small Hotel was... More

We stayed at this hotel last week and everything about the place was excellent. The reception although rather small is warm and cosy and the lady on reception was pleasant and welcoming. We stayed in room 304 which overlooked the main square in the old town. Everything about the room was perfect the decor was amazing. The bed was really... More

What a lovely hotel in a perfect location and a fantastic view of the Tyn church. I only have one negative so will get this out of the way first. When we arrived at 8pm the hotel seemed in darkness, the restaurant/bar was closed and the main door couldn't be pushed open. This had me wondering whether the hotel had... More

Dear Guest, thank you very much for your feedback. We apologize for inconvenience with closed restaurant. It was necessary to recontruct the kitchen and make small repairs in our restaurant. It was performed during February, when in Prague are not so many tourists. We are sorry again and hope you will visit our hotel again :) Thank you for understanding... More

Travelling with my wife, all runned smoothly... By hotel's suggestion, we booked a transfer from airport to Hotel at a fixed cost of 28€, all organized by Hotel staff; prime taxi service, well informed drivers and very punctual. At arrival, i must admit i was dubious about Lippert Hotel. The reception is in a corridor and all looks very tight.... More

I was influenced by reviews on tripadvisor when booking this hotel, and in many ways, I was not disappointed. I was looking for somewhere that was traditional, yet reasonably high-spec and in a location which meant I was near the major sites in the old town. Hotel Lippert has most of these qualities. The room was spacious, clean and beautifully... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
